CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) & FRM (Financial Risk Manager) are both coveted professional courses, most students end up confused after completing their graduation in terms of selecting the right course which would help them ace their career. However, choosing CFA or FRM depends upon the line of work in the finance sector that you would be interested to do. Most people opt for FRM since it takes lesser time as compared to CFA which has 3 levels and takes about 2.5 to 3 years to clear, provided you clear it in the first attempt. Whereas, FRM takes around 1 to 1.5 years. However, it is not right to opt for something just because of the duration, we should also consider the fact that the level of difficulty for FRM part 1 is higher than CFA level 1. Both FRM & CFA are different from each other in regards to specialization so one must select carefully.
