Your right about a little sadness when buying someone else’s collection. I recently bought an elderly man’s vintage matchbox collection and felt the same when looking at them when I got home. He had over 1,000 pieces that he bought over 50 years. All are mint or near mint condition. I will keep and cherish them. I love your channel and keep on sharing.😊

The best we can do is look after them, knowing it’ll be our turn one day to give them up, Doug. But for us, these tiny cars would have done their job in supplying us with endless hours of enjoyment. 🍻👊🥲

I share your memory of the MK111 Dodge Charger. It was the most sought after model for me at school.
The red version came with a green metal base and ran from 1970-1971.
The green version you have there, came with the red metal base, and ran from 1972-1976.
    Loving this trilogy of videos.
    Thanks T.

    Well... Where do I start?
    Your "army" keeps growing...
    And otherwise...
A lot of old treasures and memories. This yellow "racing car" (I can never remember the name and the MB No.) was also my first MB model, but I had the version with red wheels.
The Firetruck looks familiar, in any case it reminds me of some legendary Benny Hill sketches. (That's the "problem" if you grew up in the 70s...🤣)
You should definitely have the "ancient models" restored. Such classics are and remain the highlight of every collection.
Great show mate, definitely a thumbs up from me for this one 👍🏼
    Looking forward to part three.
(As they say in Hollywood... to be continued😎👍🏼)
    Keep up the good work.
Greetings from the banks of the Elbe River to WA.
    😎👍🏼🇦🇺✌🏼🇩🇪👍🏼🤠

Benny Hill, 3 Stooges, Abbott & Costello, and our own Paul "Hoges" Hogan, to name a few. We had such funny, wholesome comedians back then. Take me back to the 70's....please !

The yellow racing car is the ‘Mod Rod’ and is MB No.1 from the 1972 catalogue. I may seem extraordinarily smart but I had to look this information up! 😂
Aarhh…Benny Hill. My parents thought his show was running a fine line with its crude jokes. But we were allowed to watch it. Same with the Kenny Everett Show. 😁
Yes, sir. To be continued! 😎🇦🇺🦘👍

I watched the 3rd video already, so I know that Ultimate Diecast is the name. However, I would have suggested Peter Pan Diecast after hearing your tale of being the youngest. The glider trailer is very neat, I like it, what a cool piece. That sliding door is impressive. A+ effort from Kingstar. Fiero race car is spectacular
