The twist in this that I remember was pretty good. Bittersweet.

That might be why there were so few twists throughout the movie; the film makers were saving up for it.

Great review! Been awhile since I saw this one but I remember enjoying it. I went into it for Peter Lorre but came out of it a bigger fan of Dan Duryea.
