I guess I understand why you would think that Woozi or Hoshi are the leaders because they are quite on the forefront of seventeen, maybe that's why they are the leaders of their units. Also age is also a big factor in Korean culture, S Coups being the oldest he is naturally considered to be the leader.Hoshi is a bit of a wild spirit, he needs to dance and express,he is like air , flowing freely anywhere he wants but always has a goal. If he had been made the leader it would have held him back somewhat by whatever responsibilities come along with it. With great power comes great responsibility 😂 but that's just what I think. And Woozi is already juggling so much being their main producer, vocal unit leader,it would have been too much on his plate, he is a chill dude, quiet and he seems to like to stay out of the focus some times. Being the leader of so many members would have put him into a place where doens't really like to be. And S.Coups is one of the best personality type to be their leader. He is one of the best leaders to ever have leader-ed . He is grounded, sensible,stable and has a firmness that is admired by all. When I got to know that he is the leader I was like yeah that makes complete sense.

For the rings, Fans didnt like the idea of recreating them as merch because it felt like it cheapened something thats really important to the members. Even in DK’s musical role he refused to remove the ring and covered it instead so he could keep wearing it. The members have said the rings show their commitment to each other and they never remove them. It felt kind of cheap to make their personal symbol for each other into merch, even tho the rings are cool! They’ve made earrings with a similar vibe and bracelets as well for milestone anniversaries ❤️

I have 3 biases...BSS or the BooSeokSoon subunit of Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi. I didn't plan it that way but that's how it turned out lol Seungkwan is my ult bias though, not just in Seventeen but throughout all my groups. Boy is my spirit animal.
Hoshi always has been a leader. He was really strict with them during their trainee days. Also they've worked with a choreographer since pre debut so Hoshi wouldn't feel as pressured.
So nice to get to know members I haven't had the chance to yet. Especially the dance team, I only knew Hoshi. I can see why Carats in the comments are saying they just change their biases daily, it's hard to choose from a team this big. I always gravitated towards Vernon and Wonwoo but this guide made me super interested in getting to know Jun and The8 more. And was it Joshua with the beading and perfume making? I do those hobbies as well so that was relatable. I think I also tend to bias foreign members because on top of the difficulties just to become an idol, they also have to deal with living in and learning a new culture/language and often without their families around so that really fascinates me. Especially since I had contemplated living in another country in my 20s but chickened out and have always regretted that.
I think that living in another country is pretty wild! and you learn and grow a lot but let me tell you, after having lived in a different country for four years, it feels very good to return back to where you came from as well. it puts a lot things into perspective
its interesting, I think in terms of bias and Seventeen it was harder at the beginning to decide but as the time has come and gone, I find myself solidified a little bit more with Woozi and Wonwoo as well. no way! you do Beading and perfume making? @@Killdeer25 Yes I did both quite a bit in my 20s and still dabble here and there. Beading especially I am interested in getting back into as I notice that beading is pretty popular again and I could potentially sell my jewelry as a side hustle. The perfume side I was always more into blending essential oils for aromatherapy and magic purposes than actual perfume. I've never tried candle making but it seems like a good fit for me too so maybe I'll give it a try.
finally getting around to watching this! echoing what other carats have said, we'll always gladly watch this guide through with reactors 🥰 as for the rings, they don't sell any merchandise that looks like or imitates them; their company pledis actually tried to once and carats opposed the idea so strongly that they just dropped it for good, because the rings are special to the members-they never take them off except for branded jewelry advertisement photoshoots-and carry important meaning for them. however they have made their own jewelry designs for us as debut anniversary merch such as a necklace and pendants, bracelets, and earrings! personally i'm an ot13 carat, which means every member is my bias! i don't listen to any other kpop groups so i have a lot of energy to dedicate to every svt member 🥹 you're actually the first person i've seen pick up on the fact that they're the hiphop team, not the rap team! even in caratland you see ~jokes~ like "when will hhu rap again" whenever they have singing lines but they AREN'T just rappers and i think it's genuinely a small but important distinction!

Well Es-Seh-Coop-Seh (S. Coups), is my bias in Seventeen. Though, my ultimate Bias is Hoshi because he stole me from Jimin, and i NEVER thought i would leave Jiminshi. But i also am OT13. So idk. But Hoshi is the best for sure. I cant wait to see your Suchwita with Hoshi and Woozi!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Woozi's name in Korean - 우지 = Ooji DK's name in Korean - 도겸 = DoKyeom Korean surname Lee - 이 = ee The pronunciations in the video are 100% correct and there is no romanisation that can fully capture the Korean pronunciation. And vice versa, because Korean's struggle with S Coups's name since in Korean it is 4 syllables - 에스쿺스 = e-seu-coop-seu

Seungkwan is my ult bias out of all the groups I stan and but seventeen is also my ult group so… yeah. but if it weren‘t for Seungkwan I would probably have a bias line consisting of Scoups, Woozi and Minghao with everyone else lining up behind them so that at one point I would have to exept defeat of OT13 lol (can‘t technically call them wreckers though because Boo just takes the cake for me)

Hoshi always has been a leader. He was really strict with them during their trainee days. Also they've worked with a choreographer since pre debut so Hoshi wouldn't feel as pressured.
I could imagine doing their choreography is so hard that I would want to work with other people too honestly
So nice to get to know members I haven't had the chance to yet. Especially the dance team, I only knew Hoshi. I can see why Carats in the comments are saying they just change their biases daily, it's hard to choose from a team this big. I always gravitated towards Vernon and Wonwoo but this guide made me super interested in getting to know Jun and The8 more. And was it Joshua with the beading and perfume making? I do those hobbies as well so that was relatable.
I think I also tend to bias foreign members because on top of the difficulties just to become an idol, they also have to deal with living in and learning a new culture/language and often without their families around so that really fascinates me. Especially since I had contemplated living in another country in my 20s but chickened out and have always regretted that.
I think that living in another country is pretty wild! and you learn and grow a lot but let me tell you, after having lived in a different country for four years, it feels very good to return back to where you came from as well. it puts a lot things into perspective
its interesting, I think in terms of bias and Seventeen it was harder at the beginning to decide but as the time has come and gone, I find myself solidified a little bit more with Woozi and Wonwoo as well. no way! you do Beading and perfume making? I have absolutely fallen right into the candle making process!
@@Killdeer25 Yes I did both quite a bit in my 20s and still dabble here and there. Beading especially I am interested in getting back into as I notice that beading is pretty popular again and I could potentially sell my jewelry as a side hustle. The perfume side I was always more into blending essential oils for aromatherapy and magic purposes than actual perfume. I've never tried candle making but it seems like a good fit for me too so maybe I'll give it a try.

as for the rings, they don't sell any merchandise that looks like or imitates them; their company pledis actually tried to once and carats opposed the idea so strongly that they just dropped it for good, because the rings are special to the members-they never take them off except for branded jewelry advertisement photoshoots-and carry important meaning for them. however they have made their own jewelry designs for us as debut anniversary merch such as a necklace and pendants, bracelets, and earrings!
personally i'm an ot13 carat, which means every member is my bias! i don't listen to any other kpop groups so i have a lot of energy to dedicate to every svt member 🥹
you're actually the first person i've seen pick up on the fact that they're the hiphop team, not the rap team! even in caratland you see ~jokes~ like "when will hhu rap again" whenever they have singing lines but they AREN'T just rappers and i think it's genuinely a small but important distinction!

Well Es-Seh-Coop-Seh (S. Coups), is my bias in Seventeen. Though, my ultimate Bias is Hoshi because he stole me from Jimin, and i NEVER thought i would leave Jiminshi. But i also am OT13. So idk. But Hoshi is the best for sure. I cant wait to see your Suchwita with Hoshi and Woozi!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

The pronunciations in the video are 100% correct and there is no romanisation that can fully capture the Korean pronunciation.
And vice versa, because Korean's struggle with S Coups's name since in Korean it is 4 syllables - 에스쿺스 = e-seu-coop-seu

Seungkwan is my ult bias out of all the groups I stan and but seventeen is also my ult group so… yeah. but if it weren‘t for Seungkwan I would probably have a bias line consisting of Scoups, Woozi and Minghao with everyone else lining up behind them so that at one point I would have to exept defeat of OT13 lol (can‘t technically call them wreckers though because Boo just takes the cake for me)
