To answer your question though, Reeve definitely fits in with Keaton. Taken the fact that Chris Reeve was mainly the Superman of the early 80s and Keaton was of the late 80s fallowing. Donners Superman started a new era of superhero films. The goal was to make the concept of a flying man believable and then it transitioned from convincing an audience that a good man like this could be confided in all of us. It was sort of a slow departure from camp like Adam West while still providing slap stick humor for the audience. Donner originally wanted a more serious take on Superman, But I think Donner achieved the beginning stages of introducing concepts to fans of all ages something that was somewhat grounded in practicality. Tim burtons batman 89 fallowed suit With a more fleshed out batman character dealing with pain and loss, while living in a dark corrupt society that mirrored some places much like our own. The first dark take of batman on the silver screen established the believability of batman IP just like donners Superman. That being said I appreciate your comment. It was a really great question 😎👍
