Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is one of the most iconic national parks in the USA. It's known for its geysers, colorful hot springs, thermal areas, wildlife, waterfalls, and the massive Yellowstone Lake. There is so much to see and do in Yellowstone National Park. In this three-day travel guide, I’ll share with you some of the best things to do and see in Yellowstone. We’ll be driving the two major loop drives in Yellowstone stopping at all the best scenic spots, exploring Old Faithful, seeing tons of wildlife from the road, and camping right in the middle of Yellowstone with our truck camper. We’ll show you a tour of the Yellowstone Campground we are staying at. Yellowstone is one of our favorite national parks and offers so many unique summer activities and attractions. My favorite National Park? That is so, so hard!! I think Vince is right. Each is so special in its own way, and just when I think I’ve seen it all, I revisit one and find something in it that I’d not seen in my previous visits. And, I still have so many more to visit, so it may be too early for me to name my fave.
It's so hard! Every park is so unique and beautiful in their own way. There has yet been a NP I haven't liked!
Yellowstone is amazing! I went once, years ago and have been dreaming of returning ever since. Beautiful footage! Swimming in the lake looks so fun!

Hayden Valley is my favorite part of the park! I'm so lucky to live just about 3.5 hours away and have enjoyed MANY weekends at the park. Cheers and good choices on the beer... :)

I miss the campgrounds in the midwest. Coming from Wisconsin, the campgrounds are always more spaced out and more peaceful. People in general seem respect quiet hours more at night. Camping on the west coast sometimes feels like a totally different experience! Great to see that you were able to escape and eat dinner near the lake
Yes, the campgrounds can vary so much! Sometimes we score a perfect spot, sometimes we don't. But when we don't we just adjust 😁 thanks so much for watching! We were born and raised in Minnesota!

It seems you mostly drove from scenic point to scenic point. Does not Yellowstone NP have an extensive hiking trail system on a scale similar to that of Rocky Mountain NP?
We didn't do any major hiking, more sightseeing on this trip. I don't believe the hiking is as diverse in Yellowstone as RMNP.
Was it a lot of mosquitoes there?
Yes, and no. In some areas we would see a few, other areas none. Overall, not bad at all.
