@@YungPhilosopher wilt was 7 feet tall an was the best in the most trash era of basketball from there was probably 15 guys through the fifties up until kareem that was even good an thats what made them the greatest of their time
This genuinely has to be the best summary of MJ's basketball performance. Minus the years with Wizards but, luckily, someone already mentioned them. :)
@@abraxasvoice440 Big-time Lebron fan here, and I agree with what you said. 6 rings are very impressive (could've gone for 8 if he didn't retire and play baseball), but the consistent elite defense alongside his exemplary offense is what makes him both the greatest two-way player and the greatest player of all-time in my humble opinion (his elite passing shouldn't be overlooked).
@@indio4-215 for me, what separates.MJ from the rest was the fact that he had the ENERGY to play both ends of the court on the highest level on a regular basis throughout his entire career. Isiah Thomas once said that it's kinda unfair because it's like MJ had an extra that nobody had and when he switch on that gear, everyone else is left in the dust. It was true but what made MJ so great is that he aso also had the extra FUEL along with the GEAR.
Yea it’s crazy he lighting quick like a cat but his moves even at speed are so fluid and graceful but then he jumps in the air and hovers towards the basket almost in slow motion or like he’s flying
This is how good Michael Jordan is. If he is not the greatest scorer in the NBA, which he is, he will still be remembered as one of the best defenders to ever played. Then again, he did average 30.1 a game.
I love this moment at the very beginning when Mike gets the steal and everybody in the arena get on their feet and cheering while he's rushing to make a dunk. Brilliant!!
The greatest ball thief ever. In ONLY 12 seasons with the bulls, MJ was already 2nd all time in steals! John Stockton is first, but he played for 20 YEARS! Just like Kareem's all time record, Kareem played for 20 YEARS! If MJ did that he would have like 45,000 points! Wake up folks! Forget the media and hype, MJ IS the most creative, most driven, had amazing fundamentals, super high BB I.Q, and was a great leader and clutch master. In the playoffs, his records are off the charts! He changed BB forever and took it international. MJ was schooling the best in the league EVEN BEFORE he was in the league and at 40 years old, was still holding his own against the BEST players in the league. NO ONE HAS EVER DONE THAT BEFORE! Not Kareem, Not Wilt, Not Oscar, etc, etc, etc, I could go on and on, but you get my point.
Not to toot my own horn but Chris Broussard said it once or twice and I’ve said it always, MJ dominated when it was a big mans game, there’s been a tonne of shooting guards and small forwards who could put it in the hole but couldn’t dominate the game and win. MJ as Chris said defied conventional wisdom. It was a big mans game but a shooting guard dominated.
Jordan in his prime is a vastly superior defender to anyone in todays game. MJ shut down Isiah Thomas to under 10 pts for three games in one 1989 series. Isiah the next year would averaged 28 on 54% in the finals. So it clearly wasn't just the hand checking rules that made MJ a great defender. Then in 92 he shut down clyde drexler to 40% shooting. Lebron has never guarded a top 5 all time PG the way MJ did to Isiah, he played two quarters of defense on Derrick Rose. Nor has he shut down a top 5 all time player at his position like Jordan on Drexler. Instead, Lebron let Durant drop 32 a game on 54% shooting against him
And to add to that, he guarded Rose like the last four possessions... Rose could have easily taken him to the hole and as great a chase down artist LeBron is, it wasn't guaranteed he'd get to Rose ball to block it cause we all know how deadly Rose was back then... Instead he just chose to take jump shots so yea, I can't really credit LeBron as saying he shut him down but I get your point tho lol.
@Nox Hear ya go...read sometimes...Pippen actually allowed his man to score on him, regularly. Guys like Nique, Bird and Jamal Mashburn would light Scottie up. In fact, every single all-star during Pippen's career scored more on Pippen than they did the rest of the league. Look it up. Pippen was a great, great team defender, but he is vastly overrated as a man-to-man defender. In contrast Jordan has the biggest deficit of any player in NBA history: MJ scored 30.1 points, while his counterpart score only 14.6. I often thought that MJ played with more energy on the defensive end of the floor.
Fahiem Ahmadi no buddy that's Hakeem Olajuwon! Best defender in history, only center in the top 10 for steals, #1 all time blocks leader, the only player to record two quadruple doubles, closest player to ever record a quintuple double, only player to lead his team in all stat categories for 9 seasons, and the only ever MVP, Finals, MVP, and DPOY in the same season! That's the heart of a champion!
Armando De Los Santos olajuwon is great but.. I'd still want MJ on my team before him. 10 scoring titles, defensive player of the year, 5 time league MVP, 6 time NBA champion, 6 time finals MVP, two Olympic gold medals, just to name a few... On top of that, a WELL DESERVED reputation as the clutchest player ever. Jordan wins over Hakeem the dream.
Jordan was a great defender but keeping it real a great defender now is much better than a defender back in the day, most of the shit them old school peeps did would be a foul now lol
MJ was the first out of only three players (and the only guard) to ever record 200+ steals with 100+ blocks in a season, and the only one to do so twice (in a row for good measure), earning him the DPOY. He reached the 200 mark for steals six times in his career. His peak was 259 steals plus 131 blocks in the same season.
jp3813 I’ve done this before also but think of it this way, MJ played all 82 games that year. 259+131=?? 390. Steals and blocks per game that’s almost 5. For a whole season a shooting guard was basically going at 5 steals and blocks per game. What the fuck! That is fucking unreal
Anyone that doesn't think MJ is the greatest of all-time, doesn't know basketball. Defense 9.5 Offense 10 Ball Handling 9 Basket ball IQ 10 Clutch, Pressure situation 11! He would have won 8 in a row if he didn't try to play baseball.
His defense was better than his offense in my opinion. Also he has the best hands. Doesn't need to shake off defenders when he can do anything he wants.
This is why I'll always consider Jordan the greatest that ever lived. Guys like Kobe and Lebron are incredibly exceptional athletes. No doubt about it. But they're always compared to Jordan from an offensive perspective, never a defensive one. Anyone defended by Jordan ran a substantial risk of having the ball swatted away, stolen, or intercepted. Hell he even swatted away one of Shaq's shots. It's why Jordan won Defensive Player of the Year in 88 and why the Bulls won their 6th championship when Jordan stole the ball from Karl Malone in the last minute of game 6. Even if someone manages to be [almost] as big of an offensive threat, it was Jordan's defensive skills and court awareness that elevates him far above all the rest.
elbryan9 Lebron can't be compared with mj in defense because mj don't have the size to outposition people like david robinson or karl Malone or guard a kevin Durant head to head. Mj was king at off ball defense not great at on ball defense. Lebron is the biggest A hole in off ball defense history hence to his ridiculous speed and prediction on intercepting passes or chasedown blocks.
shamier smith I agree that mj was better at off ball defense than on ball defense (one need only look at all his interceptions and blocked shots to see that), but to say that he wasn't great at on ball defense... I don't know about that. lol And yeah, his stature really wasn't conducive to guys like David Robinson and such, though he still did an admiral job (see what I did there :D ) - he swatted guys like Shaq after all, but he did a pretty remarkable job at shutting down smaller, much more squirrelly guys who are harder to defend against. And lets not forget, _nobody_, in the league wanted Jordan defending them, on ball or off...
elbryan9 He wasn't great on on ball defense because nobody can name a all time great player he garuded consistently. Pippen was the one who was holding down malone garuded magic 90 feet in the playoffs and every other star in that era not jordan. Jordan tried stepping to iverson and got crossed. Mj is not that great when it comes to great players. He also swats behind the back of many players bigger than him. If you can find me a block of mj that resembles lebron swatting tiago splitters dunk face to face at the rim in mid air? I can give mj the nod buuuut no. Lebron swatted tyson chandler and spillter face to face mj never even swatted wilkins face to face let alone a malone, ewing, robinson or shaq. He did a great job of defending players that weren't the stars of the team.
shamier smith you bring up pippen guarding magic 90 feet. Although it is true, you have to remember that Jordan was older and was out of basketball for 2 years without playing so he tired faster. Before that Jordan almost always guarded the best offensive threat head to head game in and game out. You must have missed Jordan in his prime. How many DPOY does lebron have ???
whiteboiie15 Bulls played magic in the finals in 1991. How was mj older? Next, mj left the league after the 93 title against the suns and didn't play in 94. You just got caught brotha. Next mj never gaurded bird, isaih, wilkins, stockton, gary payton, or any of the great big men of that era game in and game out. Next, Mj got award because of his steals leading the league. Defensive rating mj was lower than hakeem and in defensive win shares. Defensive box plus or minus, mj wasn't in the top ten either. Through advanced metrics, many other defensive players were better and consistent on defense than mj. Mj just had the juice with all the scoring so he had that spolight hakeem was averaging two blocks and two steals and was top 5 in defensive win shares and box plus minus and defensive rating. Mj just had high average steals but not that high in blocks yet, hakeem had a even number of blocks and steals but mj got it. Eh it's an eh
Alpha Omega Personally yes, Id say he’s more “complete”. He’s better at rebounding and passing. He’s better at shooting the three. Hes not as good a scorer or defender as MJ, but he was still great in both those aspects. Again, I know MJ is a better player and the GOAT, but you can definitely argue that Bird is the more well rounded player. Also Bird is not some laughing stock.. before MJ came around he was in GOAT discussions. And Bird held his own against MJ, has plenty highlights scoring on Bulls and eliminating them in playoffs. MJ didn’t have half the team that Bird had back then but still, if you hold MJ in such high regard, show respect for the guy who was beating him and his team.
ScopeWorth Bird doesnt belong in the same universe from an athletic perspective .. transition play, speed, strength, driving, attacking the basket, above the rim play, chasedown blocks, defense in general - the eye test! .. for me it’s lebron but u can argue for MJ easily aswell
This is why they won 6 championships they got the 2 best defender in the history of NBA Jordan and Pippen and in the season 96-98 they acquired Rodman 3 best defender in their designated position in the same team now that's scary...
No Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are not the best defenders. What about Bill Russel, Hakeem Olajuwon, Dikembe Mutumbo, Gary Payton are all better defensively then them
RyZe Beastii he's right. Bandwagon would be you. And comparing the defensive utility of a center to a perimeter player is in itself flawed. But MJ was clearly a better defender than GP as good as the glove was. If you didn't watch MJ especially in his first 9 years, you won't know that. But like GP, MJ won DPOY and was bigger.
1988 Defensive Player of the year 10x All-Defense selections (1st all defense 9x; 2nd team all defense in 1985) Number two all time in NBA’s history in career steals
Jordan's ability to anticipate plays as they were happening, and his athleticism that allowed him to make the plays, was absolutely incredible. He's one of the small handful of defensive players who looked impressive playing defense, and the advanced metrics actually backed up as making an impact on defense.
+mrmacross "and the advanced metrics actually backed up as making an impact on defense." No, John Stockton and Jason Kidd both have better career defensive rating than Jordan, as did teammates Pippen, Rodman, and Grant. Jordan is actually the 138th rated defensive player in NBA history. Look it up on basketball-reference.
Defensive rating has some major limitations, and you shouldn't use it as a be-all, end-all stat to judge a player's defensive ability. I mean, if you're a perimeter player and you play on a terrible defensive team, you're automatically going to have an awful defensive rating. In 1985, Jordan had a pedestrian 107 D-rating. But guess what? The Bulls as a team were 110 defensive rating, so you could argue that the Bulls were already 3 points/100 possessions better with Jordan on the floor than without. Anyway, I never said Jordan's the best defender, and if you have to point out guys like Pippen and Rodman to put down Jordan's defense, that means you have to point out the very best defenders to find someone who compares favorably to Jordan.
This is becoming pointless to discuss if you can't acknowledge that DRTG isn't a perfect stat. It's even more pointless when you bring up Stockton and his career 103.92 DRTG, which is worse than Jordan's. A player can affect his DRTG, but it's also a function of the team. In rare cases, like Dwight Howard, one player can anchor a bad defense to be a good one, but for perimeter players in particular, playing with bad defenders on a bad scheme is going to inflate your defensive rating. No one stat fully embodies a player's overall impact. And if you really love B-R's stats, why not use defensive win shares?
@@michaelborchardt1527 No. I NEVER said it was. I was RESPONDING to the guy who said"advance metrics" back Jordan by pointing out the reverse is true. That advanced metrics actually show Jordan was actually a MEDIOCRE defender. Go look at his DPOY year. Hakeem Olajuwon DESTROYED him by every measure of defensive impact except media popularity--higher defensive rating, higher defensive win shares, higher defensive box plus minus. The ONLY thing Jordan had was higher steals. Because DPOY is a media given award, I tend to look at actual statistics.
@@DTB1995 he's not a big man but he can guard some big men. Why didn't Jordan eat Magic Johnson's soul in the 1991 finals? Game 1 the Lakers beat the bulls. Jordan guarded magic and magic had a triple double. Lebron is stronger faster and more athletic than magic. I agree Jordan is the better defender, but saying he would "lock down" lebron is just silly. Pippen would have a better chance.
I remember watching damn near every game MJ played and was in awe then, but damn looking back now, we truly witnessed greatness on the court. Most complete player my eyes have seen.
Anyone notice how many of MJ's steals resulted in him dunking the ball on the other end of the floor? Not to mention him being the one to convert the steal directly into points? Incredible!
Michael Jordan plays the passing lanes so well. He intercepts the pass to start the fastbreak and often ends the fastbreak with a dunk. His teammate Scottie Pippen does it as well. Allen Iverson and Latrell Sprewell were known to cut off passing lanes as they copied Jordan's defensive style as well
i agree w/ mr. logo jerry west. his defensive contributions are way more impressive than his offensive ones. i think it's one of the things that seals the deal for the goat.
That leaning dunk by Michael Jordan in slow motion at the end of this video is a just marvelous thing to watch. He cuts off the passing lanes and intercepts the ball to start the fastbreak for an open court dunk. He sneaks from behind on the opponent and knocks the ball away. He often comes from the blind side and blocks the shot. He swats the ball from behind out of the opponent's hands as they get positioned into the post. He prys the ball away as the opponent comes down with the rebound. His offensive game is similar to a killer shark, but his defensive playing style is sneaky as a sly fox, but very effective
great video. thanks for this. it shows how great he was defensively. people concentrate on his offensive side of floor but he was just as deadly on defense..
The greatest 2 way player in the game. 10X scoring champion. Enough said. His videos/highlights will never get old. He is a legend of legends. The greatest player ever. I don't think I will ever see another player better than MJ
Great video. Being a Knicks fan growing up, I always hated Jordan because of what he would do to my team. But now I can appreciate and willingly admit, he's the best player I have ever watched play basketball. Both ends of the court.
I'm so glad I got to watch him, even though I was just a kid. I feel sorry for those younger fans today that have and will never have the pleasure of watching a full length live broadcast Jordan era Bulls game on WGN, TNT etc....

Could you imagine trying to prepare to play against the Bulls during this era? When they retired, both Jordan and Pippen were top 5 career steals guys. They were the two best that I've seen at just coming out of nowhere and going the other way with it. And their team defense got even better when Rodman showed up. Just a scary lineup.
His work ethic , keep learning and play with deepest heart for basketball and for his team no matter what it takes Jordan will give till die on the court. No matter how much points down if he cant help on the court he will help off the court. Jordan is the only GOAT.
RunDa Mic if you watched basketball, you would know that LeBron plays absolutely no defense. In his prime he could probably defend 1-4, but any good 5 would eat him alive. LeBron has never been one of the top defenders in the nba, but he used to be a good defender. Now...I can’t stand watching him on defense.
@@yasser4973 yes lebron was one of the top defenders in the league in his prime. He arguably got robbed of DPOY in 2012. He's a lazy defender nowadays, but if you watched the laker games he gives some effort on D. He doesn't completely disappear on D
We all have had at least "one" of these plays in our lifetimes. I know I have and I look back on it and savor it. Can you imagine doing things like this over and over in a single game? G O A T .
Having watched Jordan and Pippen's entire careers together, I would definitely rate Mike slightly above Pip, but they're both the best defenders at their positions of all time, so that speaks for itself. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
This is what separates MJ from Bron, Bird, and Magic. None of those can even jokingly say he was THE best offensive and defensive player in the league.
@@Zero-wy2gx I can respect this choice. I think Jordan is better but Larry was a serious problem. My favourite story about Larry is him telling a player to go call his mommy LMFAO!!!
Lebron will never be as good of a defender as Jordan. You can compare the 2 offensively but Jordan is a top 5 defensive player of all time while LBJ is not.
Sorry for responding late, but I'd probs go with Olajuwon, Chamberlain, Kareem, Mutombo, Stockton, in no particular order. I'd probably put Jordan a close 6th though. Edit: Actually upon reflection I'd make Rodman 6th and Jordan 7th.
Everyone was paying attention, including myself, mesmerized by his offensive prowness that I forgot he was just as damn good on the defensive end. If he said he was going to stop you, you didn't have a prayer. The GOAT! #23
8:44 is pure art. dude stands up to contact, knocking the ball loose, takes off running, reaches back to catch a pass, outruns two on the dribble, deeks, then goes behind the back to change direction, hesitates, crosses BACK over, beats his man, dives into paint between two trees, hangs in the air like a circus act until his shot is there, then decides to dunk bc, ya know... still above the rim, no biggie
Great offence is a great defence and great defence is a great offence. That’s why I loved the 90’s basketball, nearly ever major All-Star were great offensive and defensive players. It was really entertaining.
He's truly the greatest.. there will never be another player who can retire after winning the season and finals mvp award.. 😂 he got bored of winning every year..
Many people say Pippen is a better on ball defender than MJ. Bullshit. I saw them play almost every game. Pippen actually allowed his man to score on him, regularly. I've been watching basketball since the 60s. I've seen them all. Only Hakeem was better.
rex waller The fact of the matter is Pippen always affected the game more defensively because of his TEAM DEFENSE. He was a very good one on one defensive player too, but it was his team/help defense that is the reason he's the greatest perimeter defensive player ofa ll time. In 1995 he was literally defending 3-4 guys on EVERY PLAY because of everyone else was such poor defensive players. With his athleticism and length he was able to get anywhere on the floor quickly. The fact of the matter is that Pippen never took a break off defensively either...his effort was absolute at all times. Jordan took plays off to rest...whether it was to save energy for offense or whatever doesn't matter.
David In the second 3-peat, with MJ in his 30s. he often got assigned to an easier matchup because the Bulls needed MJ's offense. But during the 1st 3-peat that was not the case. MJ guarded his positional counterpart. Magic, Drexler, Dumars, Reggie Miller etc. He would often guard the best player in crunch time, including Isiah, Barkley, and Dominique. MJ was voted the top defender by the players in 7 consecutive polls from 87-93, taken annually by The Sporting News. Pippen was a top five team defender, all-time. And I admit that he was a better defender than MJ later in MJ's career. But in their prime I'd take MJ all day.
rex waller The fact that Hakeem or Robinson wasn't 1 on those polls basically goes to show what a bunch of horseshit that poll was. Dream is the best defensive player of the modern era (80 to now) and was at his peak in that regard in late 80s to early 90s. Robinson is the 2nd best defensive player in the modern era and won the DPOY averaging 4.5bpg and 2.2spg...in the 92 season. The fact of the matter is, no great defensive SG will ever have more of an impact than a great defensive Center. This was a popularity contest. Realistically the top 5 in any list like that should be all centers. You don't think its a joke that Jordan was voted the best defensive player in the league when Hakeem and Robinson were around? You can't seriously believe Jordan had a bigger impact on the defense than these guys...if you do, then you clearly are being subjective and not objective or plain just don't know anything about basketball when it comes to defense.
David The wording in the poll was, " which player do you not want defending you during the game." MJ would win by a landslide. The annual poll also asked, "which player do you not want to defend." Jordan won that one 7 consecutive years, too. I think centers are more impactful, overall. But guys like MJ, Pippen, Rodman, Khawhi Leonard, Bobby Jones can shift a game or series defensively. Personally, I think Hakeem is basketball's greatest defender. But I have MJ ranked second. Kenny Smith said that NBA teams usually started their offense on the opposite side of MJ. He was that disruptive. I remember, the Bulls won because of their defense, not their offense, even though they had no great shot blocker or intimidator.

A master at knowing where the ball was going and the supreme athleticism to get there! This is why Jordan is my favourite all time player. Stats can be manipulated, although he sits at the top of many categories. Records can be broken, although he still holds many. Winning largely depends on teammates and competition, although almost no-one is a more decorated winner than he is. But no one has ever looked this good whilst destroying the competition. No one has ever worked harder than him, every single night. We miss you Mike!
A lot of Jordan's break-away dunks come of HIS defense! This video is case in point why Harden, Melo and many others are NOT in Jordan's air. He is truly rare air.

Kudos brother!!!! Couldn't have said it better myself.

Instead, Lebron let Durant drop 32 a game on 54% shooting against him
Johnny Johns Even with the wizards he shut down many players, just not as consistent but still GREAT..
He is not vastly superior to kawhi, kawhi might even be better on ball
@Nox Lol!!!! I understand you know what "Nox" is, but stop sniffing it! LOL
MJ defines what it means to have The Heart of a Champion.

For comparison Wade’s best year was 3.5 steals and blocks a game and Kobe was 3 and Lebron’s is 2.8

Jordan was the total package. GOAT.
Eh it's an eh
the most complete player ever to play the sport.
Yes facts
No, that’s Larry Bird. MJ is the best but not the most complete.
Wilt...
ScopeWorth Bird doesnt belong in the same universe from an athletic perspective .. transition play, speed, strength, driving, attacking the basket, above the rim play, chasedown blocks, defense in general - the eye test! .. for me it’s lebron but u can argue for MJ easily aswell

He never made an all 2nd team defense lol
Man...SO happy I had the priviledge to watch Jordan. Pure determination and killer instinct on both side of a court...
Jordan's ability to anticipate plays as they were happening, and his athleticism that allowed him to make the plays, was absolutely incredible. He's one of the small handful of defensive players who looked impressive playing defense, and the advanced metrics actually backed up as making an impact on defense.
+mrmacross "and the advanced metrics actually backed up as making an impact on defense."
No, John Stockton and Jason Kidd both have better career defensive rating than Jordan, as did teammates Pippen, Rodman, and Grant.
Uh, John Stockton had a MUCH higher career defensive rating. So did Jason Kidd.

The best all around player to show case unnatural skills on defense match wit unbelievable scoring equal winning) MJ the greatest of all time*
best defender and best scorer in the same body...
GOAT!!!
This is better than any dunk highlight reel out there.
Jordan was possessed on Offense and defense 🐐 🐐 🐐
8:44 is pure art.
dude stands up to contact, knocking the ball loose, takes off running, reaches back to catch a pass, outruns two on the dribble, deeks, then goes behind the back to change direction, hesitates, crosses BACK over, beats his man, dives into paint between two trees, hangs in the air like a circus act until his shot is there, then decides to dunk bc, ya know... still above the rim, no biggie
SUCH A GREAT VIDEO! Some of these blocks on here are MIND BLOWING. So glad someone preserved them.
jordan gets so much air xD, crazy blocks, crazy dunks.
i love defense jordan kobe and avery Bradley inspired me i just love it when players gets pissed and scolded by their coaches 😂
Great offence is a great defence and great defence is a great offence. That’s why I loved the 90’s basketball, nearly ever major All-Star were great offensive and defensive players. It was really entertaining.
The Real NBA King
THE GOAT,THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!
That Seal was a perfect fit for this video. Highly aesthetic!
I've been watching basketball since the 60s. I've seen them all. Only Hakeem was better.
Good point
rex waller The fact of the matter is Pippen always affected the game more defensively because of his TEAM DEFENSE.
Michael J.Jordan"""this young talented athletic right here is about to walk into his 60s with more years to come may he continues to shine as he lives the life of sunshines laughing & living the best of all of the joys from his blessings of success this brother can get all of my Meow's so brothers don't hate let him continues to be great respected and reckonize 4 ever4life.
anticipate the offense and the players move, crowd his space, move your feet, watch his waist, keep your hands wide, force him to the weaker hand.
Jordan and pippen are 1 and 2 best defenders ever. batman and robin
Great vid, man !
Shows exactly what his defence was about ; pressuring, harassing his opponents frontside but also coming from the side, and from their blindside; when you feel the Black Cat is reaching it's too late, ball is lost...
This selection is great.
Mj i will never forget how great u were! The most amazing athelete ever to play any sport! Ur biggest fan
This video should close the case of why he's the best that ever played. Period.
Nope.
@@grosskopf2779 yup
Although i dont agree with a highlight video closing a debate.. This video comes close in changing my mind because those plays are crazy
And this is how he played every night.
all heart
Mr. Jordan, sincerely, thank you so much, for all the year's of the best entertainment I could ever watch on the boob - tube. My brother & I watched dozens & dozens of your games. For me, it honestly was "the best of times". Hey Mike, I really do want to be like Mike. Just had to say that. We both graduated H.S. the same year, 1981. Would of loved it , if my high school basketball team could of played your's. California is a long way from So. Carolina. Rock on, Mr. Jordan !
Jordan’s the best SG in the history of the NBA
the best defensive SG to ever play the game
(9 All Defense selections & 1988 Defensive Player of the year)
he was a winner and a legend
6x Champion
6x Finals MVP (all-time Record)
5x League MVP
10x scoring leader
When it comes to winning, Jordan’s under the same breath as a Magic Johnson a Larry Bird a Bill Russell a Julius Erving a Tim Duncan & a Wilt Chamberlain (oh & also Kareem)
I don’t believe in who’s the greatest of all time, they were all great in their own way and had succeeded in the NBA which not too many have
MJ also led the NBA in steals three times
Mike would get bored,if he played today
