Well done. If you enjoyed the process and learnt something it is 10/10 regardless of what anyone else thinks. Also, aircraft can have airfield dioramas ....😀
I find your videos highly addictive and I’m always happy to see them. This Fokker is not a German plane, it’s a Dutch one. In fact it shot down quite a number of German planes during the invasion of the Netherlands in May 1940. The Germans never used this plane, but the Fins did in the war against Russia. There the plane did again proved very successful. Fokker still exists today as a Dutch company, making parts for the JSF. For holes Tamiya White Putty is the right stuff. As for the correct markings. You can make them yourself. They are orange triangles.
Hi) Thank you so much))) This information i cut away from my script.( because people always skip my video when i try to explain something like that) But Germans have a few Fokker D21 and they used it on experimental airfield in Rechlin.
Hi Vlad. I read your reply and I would love to be able to show you some of my models. Unfortunately I am not at all good with the digital thing , I am old school I,m afraid. I am trying to learn but I am very cynical about digital technology so I don,t find it easy. I have heard you say that you can do 3D printing , I wish that I could do that. But as I told you before I have been modelling for a long time so in my world I scratchbuild things that I am not happy with. I won another trophy last weekend for a Academy M3 halftrack. I scratchbuilt a lot on this kit and covered it with stowage. Most of which I made myself. It took me over two months to complete. One day I might be able to show you what I have made but I still think that your models are excellent. Take care my friend.
Hi Vlad. For your first aircraft kit you did very well. Believe me I,ve made worse. I have been making models for over 45 years so I have made many many aicraft kits. The one you have is a very old Frog kit probably from the 1970's or earlier. I don,t know if you have access to Ebay but that would give you the opportunity to buy some more modern moulded kits. Revell kits are alright and Dragon make some very good kits too. Airfix and Hasegawa have a good back catologue for you to look at. I know that due to the current circumstances in your country it might be difficult for you to get more modern kits but I am sure that there must be a way for you to get your hands on something. I wish that I was in a position to be able to send you some kits in the post but at the moment I am not able to because of my own issues. Maybe in the future I might be able to. One other thing. The new glue that you are using works through capillary action so hold the parts together then apply your glue to the join. Liquid poly glue evaporates quickly so bear that in mind. Revell Contacta glue would be better for you if you can get some. The problem with masking tape is that you get paint creep , you would be better off with blu tac if you can get it or something similar. You can re-use it and it will give you nice soft edges. Leave the propeller off until you have finished the model , it will make painting the engine easier. Good luck and well done my friend on your first aircraft. Good job.
Hi Vlad. You have made this old kit to a great model. very nice work with the masking tape and your result in the end is very convincing. Great job! I wish you a nice weekend. Greetings, Joachim PS: I've sent you a email. Did you got it? otherwise I would try again.
Hello Joachim! Thank you for your kind words. Yes, I received your letter, sorry, I didn't have time to answer, I was going to do it on the weekend. Sorry, again)
how wrong I was)))) the set was made in 1980, not in 1918))) Please excuse my English)
