My husband and I had our first baby who is 11 months old 🥹 now and it took us a while to figure out our quiet time with God again. I definitely did a lot more praying during my breast-feeding journey and speaking to God in those moments (especially in the early days) because you’re feeding more frequently. But my husband and I started doing bible study/quiet time together in the evening once we put baby to bed we dedicate one hour to each other into God and then after we are free to do what we “want to do“. And we also waited to find out the gender of our baby and it was so worth it 😊
Good luck finding time! I am a mom of 3 (10,7,3) I’m exhausted all the time as a SAHM so I sleep as late as I can and go to bed as soon as I can. I have had to get really good a tuning out the noise around me to get my time in. There is a lot of interruptions, but it’s kind of like life. There is always things going on around you that wants to pull your attention away from God and His plans for you, but as a believer you have to get really good at tuning out the things that will lead you to stray from God.
I’m just so excited for you, Kaci! I truly hope you enjoy your time off with Tyler and your little baby (once they arrive). It’s such a special time that you’ll never forget. I’m definitely looking forward to the Bible studies. ❤

An audio Bible is very useful! Also it's important to tell yourself over and over that the pain you're experiencing in childbirth is nothing to panic about, because pain is usually an indication that something is wrong with our bodies, but not so in this case! That at least alleviates the panic. That may sound weird but will make sense when you're going through it!

Such a beautiful & emotional moment when the doctor told me it’s a boy after pushing him out. I’m guessing BOY! But whatever the gender is, I’m hoping for a healthy baby. 😊❤️

At first I was really scared because of all the horror stories I had heard, but I picked up a pregnancy birth and it was so helpful and reassuring that when it came time to give birth, I found that all those fears were really gone. I never experienced that with my second child at all.

The more you know about your pregnancy and what to expect or anticipate during labor and during the newborn phase, the better. (Advice from a mama of 4, due with #5 in 2ish weeks!) What a God Given surprise the moment baby is here and oh it’s a “ Boy “ or It’s a Girl. I’ve got to go and study the Book of Ester with you. Finally got around to watching this. I was the one who commented about being terrified for giving birth. 😅 Growing up, I always wanted to be a mom & never gave pregnancy a negative thought until about a couple years ago when more of the RUclipsrs I watched started having babies & they'd share all these horror stories and it REALLY made me NOT want to birth my own children. Open to adoption, definitely, but still not fully sure about having biological children one day when I'm married. I know God's will is above mine and He will give me the grace & strength to deal with what I need to though. Thank you for answering my question! It was encouraging. Praying for you & your little one. 💕
Hi! Dont allow fear to creep in your mind. Remember all the women in history who gave birth and God has blessed us with the modern health care and hospitals so we have so much easier now. I also get stressed when hearing about horror stories about childbearing (i dont know if this is some kind of modern trend, which has impacted us negatively) but I think we should focus on the blessing that having a child is over that. And if something goes wrong in the labour, God is with us then too and carries us through that too. And we are not alone in that situation. Praying for your dreams of motherhood to be fullfilled

Book of Psalms is a lovely book for Baby to start on. Good to give baby a head start on absorbing the word of God. Pray you an easy delivery and bless your new little family.
I wouldn't show your baby on RUclips if I were you. Chloe J roy, who I loved just as much as you put up her last video a couple weeks ago. She was being hassled and threatened by a viewer. She's about your age; she was told that she was too young to be a mom, and that the baby was being abused. They even had social services come to their house to check it out. And so she made a Goodbye video a couple of weeks ago, because she said RUclips was't worth putting her family in jeopardy. I'd rethink showing baby on social media
