Ive applied the keyword research she describes to help me create longtail keywords for my Etsy titles, and it has generated results and by results, I mean sales.
When I took an in-depth social media course, I don't understand why I am not into Pinterest. Until now when I am taking an SEO course, and watching your tutorials, I now understand how that works, it isn't social media actually but a search engine, and how it can drive traffic to your website even organically.

Hi Sandra ! Now there's no option to claim Etsy. Pinterest removed etsy from claiming and also those who had already claimed.What to do? Does claiming is essential for creating rich pins?

My channel is super new, less than a month old! I've just learned so much and decided to start a channel to share my experiences and tips :)
@@SandraDi I opened an etsy shop (thanks to you!) and after I listed my very first digital product, my account got suspended - right away. I did not receive an email explaining why they suspended my account. My excitement turned into frustration (but not giving up). It would be great if you create a video on how to unsuspend an account or common reasons for the suspension. I tried sending them an email but I have not received a response until today. :( Thanks, Sandra!
@@nh5447 Hi! I'm so sorry to hear this. Unfortunately sometimes it's a glitch (which I know is super annoying). The only way is Etsy has to fix it for you. So just keep emailing them and asking them. Other ways to get suspended is if you are selling copyright designs. If you're not, then it's probably a glitch. Good luck!!
I just wanted to let you know that you can no longer claim your Etsy shop on Pinterest. I'd like to see a update of this process, because I still haven't figured it out yet. What I was told by Pinterest is that we can post pins for our Etsy shop. You can only claim your business on Pinterest if you have your own website.

I create a spreadsheet myself (in Google sheets) where I write down all my keywords and then I form an organic description to include keywords. Then I copy and paste that into my PIN description :)

Thank you! I actually only pin from Tailwind now (which are also linked to my shop because they are rich pins). The only pins I manually pin now are my video pins and I will do that maybe every 2 days. I'll upload 1-2 video pins. Hope that helps! :)
Hi Sandra, thank you for the added value. I have a question though- how do you manage your Etsy products pins assuming you have more than a handful of products? for example, I sell on ebay but I have 200 items on my store (they revolve around the same ~10 niches) . assuming I create 5 different pins versions to each product (5 different photos), and I have 3 boards I want to pin them to (essentially 15 pins per product), how do I do that with 200 items? It's not recommended to post too many pins a day and the work alone of creating pins for 200 items (even if they're scheduled ahead of time) will be just too much. would really appreciate your thoughts:) everyone talks about bringing traffic to a blog or website with little posts each time, nobody talks about ecommerce platforms who have a large amount of products.
Hi! That is a really good question and I know what you mean because I have almost 150 products on etsy and 3-5 pins for each product. I will try to explain what I do the best I can. I focus on a few products (let's say 10 or so) and only 2-3 boards each week and I record it. Don't focus on all products and all boards each week because it gets overwhelming and you will forget which ones you pinned. So keep your focus on certain products and boards. Then the next week, shift to the next 10-15 products and pinning those to 2-3 boards. You don't have to pin 50 pins a day to stay consistent. I've heard people say you should pin a lot a day but honestly I only pin about 10 pins a day and that includes a few of other people's pins. Is this making sense? As long as you focus on certain pins and boards each week and track them, you shouldn't be overwhelmed :)
@@SandraDi Thank you so much for your quick and detailed reply Sandra. Yes, it makes perfectly sense to focus on a bunch of items each time and not all at once. Do you post the same pin to all of those 2-3 different boards, or do you post each pin to one board? for example, you create 3 different pins from 3 different photos, and each of those 3 pins you post on a different board? meaning no repetition of the same pin on different boards right?
@@managercomtrig6262 if they are completely different photos, I wouldn't mind posting them to the same board (same product but different image). But I would avoid pinning the exact image on the same board. Also after a few days pass, you can re-pin your products pins to different boards. Does that help?
I was super into Pinterest a couple of years ago, I think it's really hard to start from scratch. I feel it would take years to build up your Pinterest SEOs
Its actually not hard at all to start! :) it does take some time to grow an audience for sure but it only took me a few months to grow my monthly viewers to 1 million. You can definitely do it!
Cool. My blog has been claimed but I didn't realize I needed to go back and claim my etsy shop too on, right? So you can claim more than one website to your one Pinterest account?
Hi Shenek! You should be able to claim your blog under "website" and your etsy shop under the etsy shop section so yes they are separate and can both be claimed! :)

Hi! If they are 2 Etsy shops, I would personally create 2 Pinterest accounts only because then you can "claim" each Etsy shop under different accounts. You can definitely just use 1 but that's my opinion :). Also I'm not sure if your shops target different audiences. If so, then definitely recommend 2 Pinterest accounts

I don't have a Etsy website , but created my shop on Etsy without having my Etsy custom domain, will it still be powerful connecting Etsy to Pinterest and will I be able to connect Etsy to Pinterest with the free Etsy account?
I don't know if it's just me, but I don't get those categories appearing at the top of pinterest. For example, when you search fitness plan and all those colored categories appeared at the top. Mine doesn't show that. Woudl you happen to know why?
Hi! Yes this is a Pinterest update on some peoples' accounts. Try this: type in a broad keyword and after you press enter, scroll down. As you scroll down, you will see bubbles of keywords in random areas surrounding the pins. Does that make sense?
after researching keywords, you said that we have to use them in description. You mean to say, we have to use those keyword in Etsy description or in Pinterest pin description ?

They updated it unfortunately - you can't claim your Etsy shop anymore. But your pins will still be rich if it has a link!

I have a question though- how do you manage your Etsy products pins assuming you have more than a handful of products? for example, I sell on ebay but I have 200 items on my store (they revolve around the same ~10 niches) . assuming I create 5 different pins versions to each product (5 different photos), and I have 3 boards I want to pin them to (essentially 15 pins per product), how do I do that with 200 items? It's not recommended to post too many pins a day and the work alone of creating pins for 200 items (even if they're scheduled ahead of time) will be just too much. would really appreciate your thoughts:) everyone talks about bringing traffic to a blog or website with little posts each time, nobody talks about ecommerce platforms who have a large amount of products.
Hi! That is a really good question and I know what you mean because I have almost 150 products on etsy and 3-5 pins for each product. I will try to explain what I do the best I can. I focus on a few products (let's say 10 or so) and only 2-3 boards each week and I record it. Don't focus on all products and all boards each week because it gets overwhelming and you will forget which ones you pinned. So keep your focus on certain products and boards. Then the next week, shift to the next 10-15 products and pinning those to 2-3 boards. You don't have to pin 50 pins a day to stay consistent. I've heard people say you should pin a lot a day but honestly I only pin about 10 pins a day and that includes a few of other people's pins. Is this making sense? As long as you focus on certain pins and boards each week and track them, you shouldn't be overwhelmed :)

Do you post the same pin to all of those 2-3 different boards, or do you post each pin to one board? for example, you create 3 different pins from 3 different photos, and each of those 3 pins you post on a different board? meaning no repetition of the same pin on different boards right?
@@managercomtrig6262 if they are completely different photos, I wouldn't mind posting them to the same board (same product but different image). But I would avoid pinning the exact image on the same board. Also after a few days pass, you can re-pin your products pins to different boards. Does that help?
I was super into Pinterest a couple of years ago, I think it's really hard to start from scratch. I feel it would take years to build up your Pinterest SEOs
Its actually not hard at all to start! :) it does take some time to grow an audience for sure but it only took me a few months to grow my monthly viewers to 1 million. You can definitely do it!

Hi Shenek! You should be able to claim your blog under "website" and your etsy shop under the etsy shop section so yes they are separate and can both be claimed! :)

I have one question :) I already have one Pinterest named the same as my store. And it’s quite successful (I hope so lol). But I also opened my second shop recently. Do I need to create one more Pinterest account now, or can I post both shops content in the same Pinterest? Maybe I need rename my account with my personal name, instead of the name of the one store? thanks for the help!
Hi! If they are 2 Etsy shops, I would personally create 2 Pinterest accounts only because then you can "claim" each Etsy shop under different accounts. You can definitely just use 1 but that's my opinion :). Also I'm not sure if your shops target different audiences. If so, then definitely recommend 2 Pinterest accounts

I don't know if it's just me, but I don't get those categories appearing at the top of pinterest. For example, when you search fitness plan and all those colored categories appeared at the top. Mine doesn't show that. Woudl you happen to know why?
Hi! Yes this is a Pinterest update on some peoples' accounts. Try this: type in a broad keyword and after you press enter, scroll down. As you scroll down, you will see bubbles of keywords in random areas surrounding the pins. Does that make sense?
At the moment the claim your account feature is no longer available for Instagram, Etsy or RUclips.
