I’ve saved a lot of old seeds that didn’t have enough energy to ditch its hull. Tweezers, razor and a steady hand. Even a mist bottle with plain water for lube works in some cases to get it off. But to each their own.

Another great video Jeremy, thanks for teaching us. I like that you pointed out that you are explaining why we use these products and what they do. Rather than just have us follow instructions and not understand what we are using and why. Following instructions is easy but the real value is in knowing what we are actually using and why. This way we can keep growing in this style even after you are gone and we can't just buy your products and follow the instructions lol. I hope these videos can help others for years to come though thanks again

Hey Jeremy question can you show us par levels on every week of growth. I veged for 5 weeks from dry seed in 10 gal. Top dressed at day of flower 1/2 cup craft blend good layer of build of flowert I have mulch on top in 3.0 soil. 2nd day of flower I cranked my lights up 700 ppfd but by end of week 1 1 plant was lime green not yellow. So I dimmed lights down to 550 till end of week 2 then plan on cranking slowly

I think finally figured out how to replicate lavender germination they are finicky I put them on clay and covered them with garden soil both freeze dried and crumbled for surface area contact I think the pH mixes at most random entropy in different ratios to interact with the seed hull to get them to sprout and it just got cold and cloudy and rainy hail even for cold stratification they are sprouting so I added more seed and garden soil so the new ones sprout dig and enzymes help the previous round of germination

Kick ass man!! Gunna try and do all the same additives as you for a round. Won’t lie it gets a bit expensive though buying all the extra stuff makes me wonder what’s the price ratio to using salts. Living soil is dope cus I’ve had soil almost 2 years and still kicking but the price for all these nutrients and top dresses gets outta hand if ya go full throttle. Would love a faq video explaining what’s in each of the products and how to make them cheaper at home. Any more than a 5x5 bed and this stuff gets pricey. Spending 2/4/500 a month on castings and nutrients and top dresses.

Can I top dress the kefir grains in my soil? Or maybe put them in my worm bin? Would that have any benefits to my soil or bin? Hey Jeremy thanks for letting us in on your grows! I have question about using the bokashi during flower on my top dress, I heard that it releases spores in the air and in turn onto the flowers and best to only use it during veg? whats your thoughts on this? also i sealed up my 15gal soil containers for a couple months and would you believe theres still predatory mites running around live in there! this time i put down some different mint seeds as a cover crop, peppermint, regular mint, all different mints basically thinking they will deter spider mites and other unwanted pests, do you think they will also bother my good predatory mites too? wondering what you think, Thanks for sharing

FAQ. Are there any benefits to the plants ie. Structure, bud density, etc. by having the light turned up and far away vs dimmed down and closer? Say the ppfd at the canopy is the same between the 2 variables in flower. Would a brighter intensity be better for bud devolpment/density/better light penetration vs a light at the same ppfd that is dimmed down but closer? Would love to get your insight on this if at all possible. Much love to Jeremy and the BAS crew! 🤙💚🤙💚

But what would bring all this on i do dry top dressing, water only and teas sometimes. All in all plants where looking good and soil looked fine. Then plants went to dark purple from bottom to top. This happen at one time on veg and flowering plants.. soil i used 60% peatmoss 30% compost 10% worm casting. Can you help me out on where i might went wrong .Could it been soil got to cool or to hot??? Cause day time veg plants and tent are around 80f to 85f nights i keep it 65f for both as well.. But when you do SoG with regulars, aspcially with this many seeds, isn’t that a bit mix up in the end result of the flowers? Because every genotype is a bit different and you end up with a bag of weed wich is a kind of mixmax?😅
Also I’m thinking about the difference of growspeed of the different genotypes? I’m a bit confused, if it’s gonna be hard to control the SoG in similarity of the tops?
I’m asking that because I know that normally you do a SoG with cuts, so every plant ist growing slightly the same and you have the same flowers
