Gene Corporon and Cindy McTee are two of my favorite people. The fact that they are both amazing, inspiring musicians is just icing on the cake. Their collaboration on this performance as conductor and composer is beautiful.

Matthew Mailman he conducted my first year in All-Virginia Band when I was a sophomore. I was spoiled by that. So communicative, and his stick work has like a bedrock. And he lead with a steel baton, not an iron fist. Tremendous experience.
