I am an indian. I have never asked anybody's caste before befriending, hiring, employing interacting and nobody ever do it.nor my parents or grand parents practiced any casteism except while arranging marriages. caste, religion is never in our head

It makes me laugh when they talk about caste system in India. All except one, the rest of the nine Avatars are non Brahmins which is perceived to be the highest caste (wrongly). Lord Krishna who is considered to be the only Poornavatar (full and complete avatar) belongs to the shepherd caste, that would be considered ‘scheduled caste’ which is at the bottom of the pile. See the irony here, Hindus are supposed to be casteist but their fullest incarnation of God is from a low caste! The Varna system was based on the tendencies of people and categorizes them as so. Caste system was invented by the British. Even among the Saptarishis, who received the unspoken Vedas in their highest Spiritual state, only one or two are Brahmins. So it never mattered who you were but Varna system placed the several Varna’s according to their tendencies (spiritual, worldly in different fields of endeavor etc.) Sanathana Dharma is the only eternal cosmic Dharma. All the other religions have no spiritual and cosmic terra firma
Yes yes, what you said 100% Truth. British was wrongly translated our scriptures and wrongly understood our Varna System. And they made caste system in INDIA. VERNA is based on the profession, if a potter becomes a king his Kshatriya. If king's son become good Pandit then he becomes Brahmin. If Son of sage becomes a shoe maker then he turns into Shudra.
Not based on their birth Verna is based on profession.
If something to be feared is a terrorism. Because this is the weapon a deadly weapon without any risk to it's handler because it is stateless. You don't know even if that weapon is preying upon you and very next to you. It's ability to penetrate not any country but any house of the country without being noticed unless it's objective is achieved and then which country to blame ? Big question that's why it's the most sophisticated weapon and it can use your resources and facilities to destroy your very own country, culture, political system and so on...

India does have a caste system. But things are changing (thank goodness!).
Modi is an outlier. If you understand Hindi, you know how mesmerizing and heartfelt his speeches are. But you have to know Hindi for that. I think he's one of the rarest breed of people: someone who can move masses to volunteer, contribute, and do better, with just his voice.
Caste system maintained strict morality honesty respect for parents grand parents culture and many noble virtues. With inter caste marriages only sensual pleasure aggrandizement crimes orphans orphanages violence hate and divorces are alarmingly rising

I believe we have many Indian authors who have mentioned caste system as rigid and some sections of society should be flag bearers of it ( it's fine and will happen eventually but should never be hereditary). Intellectuals should be considered Brahmins of today. Some can be good and some can be bad.
.. and the president of India is a Dalit...and me being a Brahman, I am poor and powerless..its not that great to be a Brahman.
He is a brahmin by birth, just like a dalit when he is born in a Dalit family.
