(And my survival ofc, food, roof over my head etc etc, but I get no meaningful satisfaction from the job nor do I define myself by what I do. It is just a tool.)

Chat.gpt is just an example of this which already started and it's gonna b better within less than a decade. so either we have to stop the innovation ,AI or goverment have to make some serious rules regarding jobs ....because their will be no choice either than universal basic income.
It look like the world will be one giant casino, once you get your basic income it’s time to go gamble.
Imagine if AI can produce food automatically for free. If everyone had access to free food, then there would be no need to work and world hunger would no longer be a problem.

I actually really like this clip. Wish I saw more of this elon instead of dumb/everything is a meme elon. Its impossible to predict because a lot of times unexpected circumstances occur. For example human cybernetics, biology and things in the nature of expansion robots may not be able to do. After all most robots are programmed to do something or learn from things already created. So people may have an edge on doing new things. Its just fun and terrifying to think about.
I will work for humanity and I want to involve my self in A.I Learning but no passion there other then this will be our future and I just want a place in it to help alot of people and this is where I am left off is trying to understand where I can of use to help humanity get pass this ugly situation we are in putting all our faith in AI.

He never said "all the work" he said that the impact would be great enough to require UBI, those are two very different concepts and I worry about people like you that can't seem to tell the difference.
Unemployment wouldn't even need to hit 50% in all likelihood for UBI to become a requirement.

He pumps and dumps Stocks and Doge Coin, way, WAY overpaid for and is destroying Twitter, ahem, I mean "X" now. Twitter had 2 things going for it : Name recognition and advertising revenue, Musk killed both of those.
People put Musk on their channels to bring traffic and get likes. In that sense, they ARE like Musk.
I feel like there will be more big families and people wont be invidualistic anymore. Just like the old times where people had to stay together with family to survive it will be the same.
I think we are a long way away from this kind of world. Atleast 100 years. Also we have a lot of problems to solve still. Hopefully people will do less menial tasks and more people will be spending more of their brain power on solving harder problems.

The only way to reduce mass unemployment is to provide supplies and life support to them regardless of skills. So that they dont have to worry about what they are going to eat for the day. Restrictions should be imposed to privileged people who buy excess or overly concerned amount of resources, no doubt they pay for it but then isnt practical.
