In this conference presentation, we delve into the application of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to empower English learners in grades 6-12. Our focus is on harnessing the capabilities of AI to tailor learning experiences that cater to varying language proficiencies. We present both the theoretical framework of employing AI in education and demonstrate real-world examples. By highlighting practical examples, we aim to underscore the transformative potential of AI in creating personalized learning environments, driving student engagement, and facilitating achievement among secondary school learners.
