Greetings from El Paso Tx! I’ve recently changed genres from singing indie pop to now producing melodic techno (following what I love deep down).. but it’s a HUGE learning curve, but thanks to your videos I’ve progressed tremendously in such a short period of time! I’m truly grateful for channels like yours sir I tip my hat off to you thank you!
Only recently clocked on to this amazing act! After I missed him at White Dubai I finally saw him live here in Riyadh playing in a venue made of shipping containers - it was a spiritual experience as he closed off day 2 of SoundStorm at 3am and his sound was the perfect closure. Inspirational person and Rapture just hits me every time! Incredible that you are already showing his methodology- big thank you for that! There are just too many genres in EDM to choose from and focus on producing!
AMEN, BROTHER!!! Love afro-house and have been wanting to dip my toes in the water. This is the perfect tutorial to build alongside and take the plunge. Thanks, Will!
Informative and down to the point I’ve been an Afrohouse producer for a while and this is the first time I can comprehend the genre in the simplest way All the love Will and wishes of speedy recovery for black coffee ❤
Great work sharing your techniques with us! It will allow me to progress in this genre a lot quicker. But I was missing a little extra polyrhythmic approaches to some of the elements. Maybe something to add to a new tutorial someday. 🎉
This is amazing.🔥🔥Ive always loved that deep afro sound and I especially appreciate how you tweaked Serum, which is what I struggle with the most..many thanks mate, from Oakland, California!🙏🙏🤙👊
GoodMorning Bro Fish here from SA can you please do a video on how to mix a track from start to finish as well as mastering it using Waves Plugins🙏🏽🙌🏽 And keep on showing us how dope Ableton it is your the best God Bless you🙌🏽
Thanks for the response, I tried one more time today before emailing u and for some reason it, worked, must have been something wrong with my network, but cheers again! @@EDMTips
Hey Will, love your videos man, and I think you just might be the guy to break down a style that no one seems to want to attempt- and perhaps it’s because no one is quite sure what style it would even fit into- I’m talking about the psy-bass-tribal house-acid dub-chill offerings of talented producers like Kalya Scintilla, desert dwellers, atyya, whitebear, etc. please refer to Lionize by Kalya Scintilla , this is what I’m after. Hope to see you tackle this unique style, thanks!!
Before I was converted to Amapiano, I used to listen to Black Coffee beats closely: most of the time he used real instruments (sounds) than just synth instruments, that's what sets him apart
This video is a 37:39 second Masterclass! I hit the subscribe button. I will be watching more of what you have! Do you do anything in Logic or is Ableton your DAW of choice?
Ableton is my DAW of choice, my tool of the trade. :) But the vast majority of my videos contain tips that can be applied in any DAW! Thank you for your support! Much appreciated!🙏
bonus tip: close your eyes and watch the tutorial back, and focus on every sound. now download that into your brain😁 you hear so much differently with your eyes closed i hear this from mixing with the masters dave pensado
REALLY,...? Well, Gabe Cannal - Agape album, track called THE ONE. He has many albums, but this one is sonically superior in my humble opinion. Others,... Kelvin Momo - TEARS OF BLACK MAN , Asana - GOODBYE, Man Musiq - NINI na NINI, etc. They all have many albums. The movement is getting BIG in the states. I will be creating and producing tracks for artist in this new genre sir. @@EDMTips
Just found you. I'm on my 4th of your videos. Literally dusted off my headphones to hear properly. Subbed. Would love it if you could play the comleted track after your goodbyes. Every video I'm looking for a link or something to hear the full track. You tickle my techno mojo then hold out. Mojo tease.
Just a question, when you are building the chords is there a reason why you don’t just select all of the bass notes and make the chords that way as opposed to doing them individually?
Hi there, I clicked on the link to download the sample/project but it it's not forwarding the project to my email. Is there an alternative link? Thanks.
@@EDMTips Hmm that comment was meant for another video. it must have switched to this one the moment i was about to type. What ever, I keep an eye on your videos too. :P
By any Chance.. does anyone have any idea, what piano vst plugin/preset KeineMusik is generally using for their songs? (like for example in Thandaza, The Rapture Pt 3, etc.)
He's our bro from SA, one of the best my bru. We wish him a speedy recovery. Your tutorials are very helpful. Thanks ❤

Va nyku share what dj program you are using? ❤❤❤
Sory(Can you*)
I use Ableton Live
Why using sidechain compressor instead of well programmed velocity for a groovy and moving shaker?
Quicker, but both work
Where is next video, no link popped up?
Just a question, when you are building the chords is there a reason why you don’t just select all of the bass notes and make the chords that way as opposed to doing them individually?
very nice
