Everyone makes mistake which is why in Islam there was a hadith that said “every son of Adam is a sinner and the best of the sinners are the ones who Repent.” We as Muslims forgive so on the day of judgment, god will forgive us for our mistakes and show us mercy. Also in Quran 3:139, Allah swt said “Do not lose hope, nor be sad.” I really hope you understood the message.

i think this is the murderer’s worst punishment, he now has to live with the crushing guilt or murdering such a kind man’s son just for his own selfishness. This man is so spiritually connected and forgiving that he touched the murderer’s heart and said “it’s ok”, something that was sure to make the murderer rethink and reevaluate what he had done. Now he realizes who’s grand mistake and had to live with it for the rest of his life, knowing there is no way to really make it up to that man

7. Violence in Islam
Islam sows violence (compare Sura 9.74 and 4.95). The wars waged by Mohammed were preceded by fewer undertakings, such as the robbing of caravans from Mecca.
