Loved the 2nd Mile idea. Outperform your contract. The wise man does nothing reluctantly. If anything is worth doing, do it with all your heart. Demonstrate your sovereignty by doing more than what is asked of you. So good!
So good Brian. My wife and I have followed Joseph Campbell for almost 40 years since his interview with Bill Moyers. The "Finding Joe" movie solidified the idea of being your own Hero. You are the icing on the cake! Hahaha. We are currently nearing the final chapter of building our cabin in the mountains near Flagstaff after renting in the San Francisco Bay Area for 40 years. Just returned 3 days days ago spending 3 weeks finishing the foundation for the final phase. It is a "F"ing Hero's journey make no mistake. From dealing with the Building Dept. to actually building our dream cabin. It is so hard to do and yet it is glorious. I just turned 67 years old this year. I don't even care if I live long enough to actually live there. The idea of freedom begins between the ears. The journey is the greatest adventure I've ever had. It is now truly for my children and and my Grandkids. A place of refuge, sanctuary and safety like nothing I have ever experienced. Just knowing that it will be theirs when I'm gone is all that matters. A person who plants a tree knowing that they will never sit in it's shade has started to understand the meaning of life.

Read at least 1 chapter, and this beautiful Butterworth book will enlighten you like very few books you have ever read...and I have read several hundred since college in the '70's. Yes, it's biblical, but not preachy...but teaches so you harvest the fruit of living. Thanks Brian for what you bring to us that's better than Cliff's Notes
