I have to say that I REALLY like this voice for the White Queen. She has been conceptualized as British since the 2000s in comics and in "Wolverine and the X-Men." However, it's known that she is from Massachusetts! This actress in her tone and energy captures Emma Frost perfectly, and it works for me because she has an American accent! She sounds alluring, powerful, and calculating, and these are all Emma's traits. She delivers the character better than January Jones did (even though she had an American accent, too).
She doesn't have a British accent but an upper class mid-Atlantic US accent which can sound British to people unaccustomed to it as it's a mix of both (think Katherine Hepburn & Kelsey Grammar).
Am I the only one who thought it was hilarious that his "perfect reality" to seduce a woman was on a ship, not only that, but complete with snazzy mid 19th century clothing and an accent? I mean come on! XD XD
Well in the comics it made more sense. Cause he'd been making approaches for a much longer time. Disguised as random men whom Jean had met. Like a random priest sitting next to her on a plane or a random hot guy on a beach. And piece by piece he learned more about her. And that's how they ended up in 19th century I guess. Cause by that time he knew that's what she would like.
pogodziej Thanks. After I posted the above, I realised that Mastermind often uses his psychic powers to make people see him as a Victorian gentleman, which is exactly how he appears in this cartoon franchise.
I actually am always disturbed by this part. Not in a major way but it makes me uncomfortable. I mean Jean isn't even in control of herself here so two separate people are forcing her i to this relationship. Plus this guy creeps me out.
@@ampocalypsew3883 every other was listed by country except storm so I identify her country of origin like all the others. Considering Africa had 54 different countries.
Okay, I’m going to say it. This was a _stupid_ idea. I really shouldn’t have helped out the Hellfire Club with this. We were playing with fire. Literally.
Jean is one of most powerful telepaths, so understand that in her mind, she's struggling for control from Phoenix within her. You should read the comic from which this is based from. She teaches him a lesson in the end.
Also, if you’re talking telepaths falling for his illusion, then how did Emma Frost not see through his faux appearance? Isn’t she supposed be strong too?
early on, Jean's only dialogue was "ahhhh!" and "Scott!" Every episode she got yeeted, trapped and screamed for him. Meanwhile Scotts only line's were "ughh" and "Jean! im coming!!!" There was a montage video of it, it sounded very.... 80's NSFW
Nicholle Christine Edwards lol!! Yes!! My siblings and I were born in the early 2000nds and our mom only let us watch old cartoons and movies most of the time and this was one of our favorites!!
Nicholle Christine Edwards yeah! but homeschool isn't all its cracked up to be. No snow days always around your teacher.( which isn't good If you make her mad ) barely any social life! No friends no prom no dances. No field trips. But sometimes it can be kinda fun.

@@phillipwattsjr.4714 Yes I understand but just too boring and dull designs. I like it better when x-men uses more colorful, unique looking designs and costumes. Wish we could have seen stryfe, random and zero in an x-men episode as like a lead character, not just some cameo appearances.

Fake fan detected. Any Emma Frost fan knows she fakes her British accent so the best voice for her was Kari's.
@@thunderbear9418 I knew that was an “explanation “ given but chose to ignore that because I thought it was stupid for an intelligent character to do.

ok, that makes a lot more sense, thank you for explaining that a bit more
It's almost like the "perfect reality" that Marcus used to seduce Carol Danvers, which would result in her giving birth to him!

That's Mastermind??!
In the X-Men Evolution franchise, Mastermind looks like a homeless beggar, and he's also much smaller built.
That's just an illusion. Watch the Dark Phoenix Saga to the end and see his real (beggar) form.

When you discovered Mastermind is actually an old man in his around 70's
Really? He didn't look like that at the time.

Yup, especially later in the series when Dark Phoenix shatters his facade to reveal how he really looks.
