Thank you for your videos, you’re very generous with your tips, they’re clear and easy to follow, it’s great that you don’t assume your viewers are all Photoshop experts and that you have a clear idea in mind where you want to go with your editing. I hope to learn from you. Thanks a lot🙏

    Nice.
I would love to see you edit a long exposure with the moon out, just before the light goes away. I´m having some problems with the purple colors and would love to see how you would approach a scene like that.

At the 9:03 mark, could you explain what/how you did the sharpening?

    • @ThePhlogPhotography

Sure! I always drop the radius all the way down, while raising the detail all the way up. This is the same for EVERY image I work on. After that, I play around with the sharpening slider, depening on how sharp I want the photo to be. Finally, I apply the masking: This images doesn't need any sharpening in the sky, so I try to mask out those areas with the masking slider

Love your stuff and leaning a lot. Question: when you straighten the horizon I could see the ponton (dock) become crooked when it was straight. Is that your intention?

I think he got a little distracted and selected the entire image instead of the originally selected top area with split grids using Warp. Making videos isn't easy.

As @Dave Dube pointed out, I got a bit distracted by the top part when warping the horizon, so that may have skewed the dock :/
