Robot, I really like your videos as they're educational in content for those seeking two-wheel mobility. This particular model, the Piaggio Liberty is the model that is the best for the money and what I might get. Too bad you don't have a store near me, oh well.
Thanks for the Liberty video. I checked out a Liberty, and it seemed quite nice. I wish the legshield and footrest area was wider. I understand they did it from an airflow consideration, but one of the benefits of a scooter is, that it protects the rider. I would still like to see: valve-check video, race against a stock Honda Grom, and a 183cc bigbore kit video--if they fit. If Piaggio understood the market here, they would up the displacement to 175cc's, and go with wider tires.
ONE downside of doing this back there - you lose the nice b i g brake light. Now only the center of the assembly lights when brakes are applied. The EUROS have clear lens for the turn bulbs & center brake light. We have the red lens....which works great for our edge-to-edge brake light! I'll stay stock, thanks!! But, thanks anyway Robot.....
I just went through and did the euro conversion. I think it looks WAAAY better! I ordered part # 1B0016640000C (Europe Middle East Africa). Worked like a champ!
Awesome really makes it look more sleek. Hope we still get that accessories video mentioned on the previous video. Does the Liberty have threaded bars to add to end caps like the primavera?
The liberty handle bars do not have the threaded holes like the Vespa Primavera and GTS. They are solid steel at the ends, can could be drilled and tapped to accept bar end wights.
A question - In EUROPE does the Liberty's white LED turn off when the amber turn bulb comes on right behind it? Your mod has both white DRL and amber turn bulbs on at same time. USA cars with front LED DRLs , the LED turns OFF when the nearby turn light is activated.
Mine is EU stock, it does not. I dont think the front indicators are very clear, nor the brake light with the original top case hanging out over it. I am a freight semi trucks will miss it.
Hello there :) I have a question I wonder if you know what belt number is needed for 2008 Piaggio fly 100? Example should be like this; Continental 669 X18 X 30 Thank you from now.
I wonder if this would fit: www.scooterwest.com/primavera-sprint-liberty-3v-2018-iget-183cc-63mm-bore-cylinder-kit-w-ecu-mapper-not-for-946-or-fly.html
@@BrendaEM Yes this kit fits, you may need to splice the fuel injector wiring for the Malossi Force Master fuel controller as the new Liberty uses a different style injector.
Hi Robot so after removing your turn signal pods, you have no down light for your number plate, in Australia we would be fined for that, lucky i have the Euro turn signals. CHEERS ROBOT.
Thanks for confirming that the entire front/bottom piece needs to be removed to access the inside properly. I had a minor collision and cracked a few of those pieces - one of my drl pods is loose. Now that I know how much is involved, I wont bother fixing it properly. just lots of tapes and or glue and thats all i will do. there are even some broken off pieces of plastics that fell inside and I cant even pick them up without removing that whole shield piece. probably at least 20 screws. these piaggio products are built nicely, but they surely arent easy to fix.
would love to see more Liberty videos picking a 125 up on Saturday love all your vespa content
Another GREAT how-to vid...this was next on my list of "to-do's". You're the man Robot! Thanks!!!
This was helpful in that I will be replacing my brake levers, and now I know how to take the area off for access.
Would love more of this video's on the Liberty's.

Copied looks great, ordered plugs. I was able to get at the bulbs for the front installed from underneath after feeding the wire down from the top.
Thank you for the video. I just did the rear of the scooter with breeze after seeing the video a few times. can't wait to do the front soon.
Thank you for sharing this video how to install turn signal below panels! Mr. Robot
just leaving a comment to help out the algorithm.

Part took about 4 months to get to San Diego area, slow boat! AND Robot made it real easy with this video MUCH APPRECIATED!!
Super cool to use European turn signals

@@Tom-sg4iv Thank you for your reply! Think I'll keep mine stock USA with the pods!
Any recommendations on Head light upgrade for Liberty? OEM on hight gives no light to the road
I want to keep the pods and also turn on the original lights as brake lights. Is there a kit for that?
If it is a DOT requirement to have turn signals a certain distance apart for import. Is it legal to remove them once registered?
So the front cover doesn't side up off the tabs like on a fly?
I loved this video.

can you show how to remove pods and do the euro turn signals on the 2020-21 sprint 50? thanks!
See this video, the 50 is the same steps as the 150cc. ruclips.net/video/7vjVUJSNoO4/видео.html
Assume video as always !
Hey I have a question what can you do to a 150cc scooter to make it faster

Thank you robot ! I’m now sold on the liberty with the euro turn signals. Those ugly pods are cheap looking and not authentic.

ET4 never had pods. Just saying.
The ET4 had turn signals that were just far enough apart to meet the US DOT requirement, same with the GTS.
