Materials needed:
yarn (medium #4) in colors of your choice
I use Caron One Pound yarn in the color : OFF WHITE
US size G crochet hook (4 mm)
tapestry needle
scissors
stuffing (Poly-fil)
9 mm safety eyes
hot glue gun - glue sticks
Time stamp for the start of the tutorial 2:00
Since it wasnt included and theres no time stamps, heres the pattern
Legs
Round 1: magic circle 6 sc (6 st)
Round 2: sc in each st (6 st)
Round 3-6: sc in each st (6 st)
make another leg but dont fasten off
Ch 2, join to the next leg with sc
Sc in first st of second leg
Round 7: Sc all around (15 st)
Rounds 8-11: sc in each st (15 st)
Round 12: (3 sc, sc dec) x6 (12 st)
Stuff body
Round 13: sc in each st (12 st)
Round 14: sc dec all around (6 st)
Round 15: sc increase all around (12 st)
Round 16: sc increase all around (24 st)
Stuff body
Round 17: sc, inc (36 st)
Rounds 18-19: sc in each st (36 st)
Stuff neck lightly
Round 20: 4 sc, dec (30 st)
Round 21-24: sc in each st (30 st)
Place safety eyes between rounds 20 and 21, 4 st apart (OPTIONAL- secure safety eyes with hot glue gun)
Stuff head
Round 25: 3 sc, dec (24 st)
Round 26: 2 sc, dec (18 st)
Round 27: sc, dec (12 st)
Stuff head
Round 28: dec all around (6 st)
Weave in end
Arm (make 2)
Round 1: 5 sc in majic ring
Round 2: sc in each st (5 st)
Round 3: sc in each st (5 st)
Round 4: sc in each st (5 st)
Round 5: sc in each st (5 st)
Round 6: sc in each st (5 st)
To fasten off, sc 2 across top
Attach to body 1 row beneath neck

Hi! Whenever I make the legs and try to pull the tail it does not work :(… Do you know why it may be ?
At the beginning? When you are working in the mc? It could be that you are working over the tail end in a way that does not allow you to pull and tighten up.

thank you for this tutorial ❤ i wanted to make little stuffies of my friend and his dad because his father past away last week. i think it would be a cute way for my friend to have something to remember his dad is always with him in a materialistic way.

Started crocheting yesterday and made this doll today as my first "real" project... Took me about 9ish hours in 2 sessions the stitches don't look as neat as yours but i am very satisfied how it ended up

I have been looking for a small doll and clothes etc. using medium #4 worsted weight yarn so I can use up my stash (2 full bins of part balls, and counting) and this one is PERFECT! I look forward to tutorials for clothes for this doll and in the meantime, I will get crocheting the basic dolls so I have a 'stash' of them ready to go. Thanks for sharing your amazing work!
