okay if this is a category 3 water loss are you still going to use the same equipment are you going to use dehumidifier

Even though this was made 8 yrs ago a lot of the equipment was not placed correctly. That said to each his own and lets all get this money!!
I cant side with the fact that conventional drying is "in the way of the homeowner" by using fans and dehus, but this method of sealing whole floors making them virtually not accessible is more convenient.

Nice sales pitch. Not necessarily all true, direct drying is great. But conventional drying works well too, if you do the work the initial day, and know what you’re doing it can take 2-4 days. Nice pitch though. 🤙

Thanks for the Idea and technique! I had water damage in one room only. I used my Drying machine exhaust with a flexible pipe directed under a tent I made with vapour barrier Polyethylene Film. Works like a charm!
Talking about save some furniture it doesn't make sense if the content or furniture,drywall,lower cabinets have been contaminated with a black or cat 3 water must be removed or replaced 🤔..

in the intro they should have added idiot roofing company's (happened to my home)
to much heat and drying to fast can cause materials to crack damaging beyond repair . I do implement the tes on jobs still for drying crawl sp.,aid in drying wood floors ,subfloors etc. wich is typicaly a class 4 bound water while still utilizing a dehue just dont like the idea of leaving windows unlocked even though you set up a barrier it can lead to a break in a big liability for the drying company.😎
Interesting system. As an EMS contractor who's been in the industry since 2001, I'd say if it takes someone 5-7 days to dry something out using conventional air movers and dehumidifiers, they might want to revisit their psychometric and drying techniques class.
Give me a beat up old 1200 dehu and a blower a fan, and I can dry anything in 72 hours flat. People taking 5-7 days are just trying to milk the insurance company. This is common knowledge, and is why most insurance adjusters wont pay for more than 4 days, period.
Eric Day there have been very few times something took more than 5 days. Hoarder homes which we weren't able to put equipment in due to the extensive packout that it took to get near the affected areas. And one time we dried with a membrane in the floor which I wish we could have just knocked out the tile instead but my boss was insistent on heat drying. Through a heater in there and burnt the house at 120d for 3-4 days. I can say that was interesting to dry that!!
Eric Day also to add to that, I may be wrong but where I work if the padding is wet the padding is gone.. and I see him lift that padding in the video... it erked me :/
lol @ the old beat up 1200 and air mover drying out anything in 72 hours. I had another restoration technician tell me a very similar thing, while wearing cowboy boots. A piece of carpet yes, some plaster board yes, some timber yes. Ill give you a saturated concrete slab which has been soaked for more than 3 days and a beat up old 1200 with an fan, I'll drill and plug the slab and I can guarantee when I complete an in depth R/H reading it will still require more drying than 72 hours.
Nonsense. An exterior [read: insulated] wall with a high gloss paint can take several days to dry. That same wall with wood paneling can take even longer, particularly if the homeowner doesn’t want you drilling into it and/or having it replaced with sheetrock by the insurance company!
