I have this truck and absolutely love it. It is all proportional, and extremely capable off road, which really surprised me. I did have the Huina 1573 but ended up selling it as it was so useless off road. Can highly recommend the Western Star.
I have the same truck. The 2 small buttons aligns the front wheels. One for the right and one for the left. If you hold either button for L or R it'll aligns. You can hear the humming sound when used.
Thank you for a great review, and my favorite part is at 6:00 where you show how big this truck is next the the Huina! That clinched my purchase choice!
That’s a really nice looking truck. I hate when the companies don’t stick to their advertised scales. I custom 1/64 scale semis and diecast and it’s the same thing..
The few things I would like to improve is the steering and maybe find a softer and better treaded tire. Softer tire to give it a little suspension give.
I am hoping to get a few more of them and repaint them. After the snow melts and the ground thaws I have a lot of equipment that needs to be put to a real test.
I set up my motion and steering on one stick and the box on another for all my Bruder conversions. I just don't like the steering and box lift on the same stick.
If you still have the box call the company and they will send you another truck. I called them about the lithium battery and they sent me 2 extras batteries.
I have it n I think it’s overpriced for wat it duz!! The remote is cheesy the doors in the cab don’t open up it has no suspension no horn sound.. but it’s a very good looking truck n it’s fast.. should of ben priced bout $150-180 that would be a fair price for it duz.. yes it’s btr than the huina dump truck
I’m looking at getting one of these and I have a question. Where can I get better pipes? I want to put straight pipes on it with a 45 degree angle at the tips like the stock ones but a much larger size.

The words you were looking for to replace the slow to fast is "Fully proportional" driving and steering.

Great review, thanks for the honest info 💪💪👍👍
It's a nice truck for the money!
The way the sticks are setup is the standard way ground base stick radios been setup for the beginning, but I get it if you not use to it

Good bench review the truck looks great, what is the width of the truck?
Not sure
I restore Tonka Trucks!🛠🛠🛠
I can't believe that this one is 8 wheel drive. All of their other trucks only have one drive axle.
Because the dump truck needs more power to haul. That's why all rear wheels function.
Cool truck! Do you have a link where we can acquire these?

@@dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796 Thank-You
Just got one of these and it’s beautiful. Only problem is that the sound function doesn’t want to work… any ideas?
No I don't have any ideas. Not a fan of the sound system anyway. Keep an eye on the exhaust stacks. Known to fall off especially the LH one.

Do you know if it can climb up steep hills (on and off road)?
Can a conversion be done on this truck?
Already RC, but I have heard of people doing upgrades to it. Steering and ESC upgrades so it can be controlled better.
Does the lift axle work and is it steerable
It lifts and locks up manually. It turns on its own no servo. Hopefully, that makes sense.

Cheapest I have found them so far is $220 shipped.

That's something that would have to be fabricated.
I have found that ya can get aluminum tubing at hardware stores stores & ya could make your straight stacks out of them
