@Droneguy-be1fy you want 1/16 scale or 1/14? The 961S is sometimes advertised as 1/16 and in places 1/18. The Double E Hydraulic EC160E is 1/14.

@ not important to me either is fine. I’d rather go for best bang for buck with features. I’m leaning towards this JDM-208 seems to be the most refined of the 3? Yours still running well?

It is a 14.5-hour drive for me one way, so not likely I will ever make the trek. Maybe some year when I get others local that want to make the trip together. Too far for me to go it alone.

The dump pit and conveyors I built from scratch. The sorting trommel was purchased from a Vietnam manufacturer.

The cab is from a Bruder Mack Granite. They are larger that 1/16 and a little smaller than 1/14. I'd say they are what I call 1/14.5 scale. They seem to work just fine with the Tamiya stuff.

I myself have no idea. I wanted to get more buckets for this 920, and they claim no others fit. I call bull shit on that. They also told me that if I wanted a quick attach to by the one for the CUT 914 and then buy all of the bucket for that. I honestly think they are full of crap. I am going to see it some of my buckets for my EC160E Double EE Volvo will interchange. It is dumb of the manufacturers to just build buckets to fit one model. I know that my buckets from my 1/12 Faroe Liebherr 954 will interchange with the RC4WD 1/14 360L Earth Digger.

@ thanks for reply and ya that would be cool if Ec160e buckets fit.Because can find those buckets pretty easy I was wondering if the lesu et35 buckets would fit because lesu sells a jaw bucket that’s pretty sweet.

@PhiddyPford yes the light and trailer holes were an afterthought on filling them.

@TrevorBarrett-h9w Magom, they are aluminum Bruder 963 conversion sprockets. I had to narrow them up quite a bit to get them to fit. Sadly, Bruder has stopped production of the 963 so hard to tell how long Magom will continue to produce them.

I have never seen a dual shaft micro servo, but maybe someone makes them. Maybe a standard size servo with a dual shaft might work if there is room to do so but will require some kind of shaft extension to make it to the other side. Nice thinking outside the box. My way is just one way, but there are a lot of ways to do it. 😉

@dennybobsrcconstructionagc2796 for sure! I did see some robotics style servos and they almost look like it has 2 out puts top n bottom but I think the bottom side is just a dummy crown. Bc the way they set it up looks like the servo basically has a C bracket that's driven by the main out put n the bottom one just rides the same axis. But anyways I really enjoy your builds. I too been making trucks for manyyy years started back in 09! Hah

I may go back on mine and do some wood on the deck yet. I just needed something simple to kill time on a crappy weather weekend. First, I need to get my table saw back from my son who borrowed it.

@MARINECORPS61992113 maybe in a future build, do an 8 bag set up, but they do cost money. Most of the 8 bag setups have compression springs on the inside. They are fine if you aren't going to haul a 70lb dozer and such or if you have a low boy with jeep setups to keep most of the weight off the back of the truck. They sure do give the trucks a more realistic modern look if you want detail. I installed solid walking beans to carry heavier loads. I know their are folks who build an actual compressed air bag set ups but due to the extra cost and then future leaks, istalling a compressor, it just isn't practical for me.

I used the original battery mount trat that is usually in the sleeper area. I trimmed all the excess off around the tray. I made a bracket that fastens to the shock towers and attached the battery tray to that. I also used Velcro straps to hold the battery in place in the tray. Hopefully this helps and makes sense.

@@quadsatv hard to fit everything in the day cabs and still maintain the interior. I get rid of the interiors or at least the seats to make room.

I am not saying eliminating the red wire on all, but 1 ESC works in every instance, but I tried it with this, and it worked. Maybe some ESC's have a weak built in BEC or none at all.

If you can't be nice and genuine, then go back to showcasing your stuff and bragging about what you accomplished and don't describe what you did. When people watch stuff like that and they think they're going to get some help and then they don't it doesn't do them or your channel any good.

@rcjeepguy3560 5 years, over 3,000 subscribers, over 400 videos, and still trying to find the niche that works. Some things work one time, and then they don't the next time. The RUclips algorithm is one that I will never figure out. I can get a video that gets 40,000 views and then do a very similar video that only gets 400. I have also played with TikTok. Get a video there that gets over 80,000 views in a few days, and then the next one gets 800. All social media platforms are a pain to figure out. I am just going to continue what I have been doing, and if it gets views or not, I will go on. At one point, a few years ago, I was going to quit it all and not show anyone anything. Keep to myself to heck with the world. I'm not looking for fame and fortune. I'm just having fun. When this becomes no longer fun, then I will pack up and get out.

​@rcjeepguy3560 I think you got the wrong idea about the "not gonna give away all my secrets"...that was tongue in cheek. Notice he chuckles after that. He shows the steering setup in video 3, and other interior shots in the other videos. I met Dennis in person last month and he's one of the most helpful people I've met. He spent 90% of his time talking with people about how to convert models and answering questions from non RC people. I rarely saw a transmitter in his hand. Dennis is the real deal my dude.
