The glow bar is soft and would probably work well for my look. Not opposed to more shimmer on others, but subtle is more flattering on my aging face. Love that eye palette!
I've gotten several very shimmery highlighters thru ipsy, and at 53 I assumed they would be a disaster. However, I tried applying with a cheap fan brush, then using a bigger brush to blend and buff. I'm able to add just a butterfly kiss of highlighter and it looks really flattering. Just an idea if you ever want to try a more potent highlighter, but I totally agree that it's a must to have some easy, very subtle ones at hand. I love the yc collection radiant setting powder as a highlighter. I've only seen the brand on ipsy tho, I think it was dramatically overpriced if bought thru regular retail
2 things first off I love your videos been a long time lurker. Secondly never wet your brush before going into the eyeshadow pan. This will create hard pan and be a huge pain to get rid of. 😢 I really like your videos you’ve never changed like some you tubers have.
I want to adore their eyeshadow but every attempt I make to try it is thwarted lol...the palettes I liked at target were broken or icky (last ones on the shelf), I've had numerous problems ordering online (mostly my cheap self not wanting to pay shipping & only wanting one thing). Target seems to sell out super fast, and it is currently the time of year when thousands of additional people come to my city for back to school shopping, we serve a 500 mile radius of farm towns...so in late September I'm marching down to Ulta and getting myself some ColourPop!!
Hi Mandy! Regarding to tretinoin, I have had periods of times where my skin seems to become sensitive to it, even after using it for a significant amount of time. What I do is try to take a couple day break, then add it back in on top of my moisturizer (to help prevent it from penetrating the skin too much as it gets used to it again), then after about a week of that, and if my skin is responding well, I will use it again as I normally would. In terms of strength, I would wait until your skin is well adjusted then add in the stronger formula, on top of moisturizer 1x per week. Work your way up, and then work your way up to under moisturizer. Hope this helps. 💜
I have that colourpop palette and OMG it is my absolute favorite pallet right now. sooo many things I have done with all the colors. love love that soft blue; looks so good with my amber eye color. ... and, up until now, I, too got burned out by colourpop.... too many paletts, too many silly child-like products, just too too much in general. I'm still burnt out. but, I saw this on Ulta and thought it looked like my jam, so I jumped in.
Beautiful! Always so baffled when you say your eyes are small! I think your eyes are much larger than average. If your eyes are small, mine are teeny tiny!
I'm glad u feel the same way as me with the eyelashes, I have small eyes too and they always feel heavy and I don't like the way they look. I was a bridemaid and the makeup artist insisted to put them on and got upset w me when at the end took them off😬😅
Hey Mandy, love the video!! We really don't hear you mention a lot about skincare. My face is going through, I don't know what. I guess it's the awful heat and humidity. Would love to know what you use for am/pm skincare regimen. Always looking and needing recommendations. You always look great, so you must be doing something right... Have a great weekend 😊
This is a beautiful look. Love the eyeshadow. Funny you’ve gotten out of Colourpop and I’ve recently gotten back into it. I hadn’t bought anything in a long time but bought several in the last few months.
OK gonna have to get that Color Pop pallet, I love cool pink, especially for spring. And I love your cheeks! So pretty! If you end up not liking it, I'm sure you have followers that would take it off your hands. 🙋♀️😉 You're absolutely stunning as always!
Love the look! The lashes may be a bit heavy... maybe try a lighter mascara next time. I just got the Petals En Pointe shadow palette... am looking forward to trying it out!
Lash tip lol: I got compliments on my fake lashes the other day. Made me chuckle, as Ive never ever worn them, but behind my string glasses rx, my own lashes plus loads of outer liner & a deeeeeep outer corner look like fakes! I have thick luxurious long lashes ...that stick out straight and are basically invisible except for when they poke my glasses or eyeball...😂 the lord giveth and taketh
I love the CP paletts. I don't own that one specifically. It's a pretty colourstory. Saw in one of the makeup sub reddit makeup groups a swatch of the gloss. Seemed to be mostly a clear shine with some hint of colour. I have zero experience with fake lashes. Bought a magnetic pair eons ago. Just couldn't figure them out.😂 Maybe one day! Love your makeup in this video. Totally onpoint IMHO. P.S. Would love to see you review the L.A. Girl duo chrome powder shadows.
During the day I definitely avoid looking like a disco ball. In natural light, I have too much texture to wear high beam highlighter. I quite like the finished look. You ended up with a very Old Hollywood glamour. The eyelashes were extra even before you put on the false ones 😎
I think the tarte pallette like the Hourglass are great for a casual just in jeans t-shirt outdoors kind of a day or afternoon. Even at work ibdont overdo the shiny highlight.
This is a beautiful, soft look. I have been looking at this palatte. I would love it if Colourpop would bring back their collaboration with Raw Beauty Kristi. I think the lashes look beautiful on you. I can't apply them either.
The Glow Bar in my opinion was gorgeous on you. I’m coming from a place of “your skin looks great” not “ whoa, that’s some highlighter!” As I have aged(50) I would rather get compliments on how my skin looks than how my makeup looks.
The look is nice. The Glow Palette Bronzer is the best of the trio (in my opinion).; the other 2-meh!😅 CPop Palette is a winner, as is the Mac Blush. I am scared of false lashes so kudos to you!😂
What a pretty look! The lashes look pretty heavy but certainly pack a punch! If you're looking to make some impact, you found the correct lashes! But overall, I think the look is seriously pretty!
If you're going to spend the money, buy the one everyone raves about: Hourglass Ambient powders. Or just get another Essence nude highlighter. Or use a L'Oreal Age Perfect Radiant Satin blush, with subtle highlighter sheen built in. Simple!
Hi Mandy! Perhaps you could try to trim false eyelashes from the outer hedge instead of the inner one in order to keep the look softer... This final look was beautiful anyway!
Pretty eye look. Have heard good things about the FB concealer. I looked at the glow bar during the sale but decided to pass. Glad I did. Thanks Mandy! 💖💖
Oh God that clip of you doing your lashes 😂 I died hahaha! Watching the top of your head close to the camera lol so funny 😂 I love your videos and your humor
I haven't tried any of these and I don't plan to. The palette is one that you can get the same looks with if you already have those shades in other palettes. I don't know if it's my phone or if it's on your end but I didn't see greys in the palette to begin with, lol. Lashes? You didn't need them. You're right. They did weigh your lashes/eyes down. I don't need help there either so. The face palette? I don't use bronzer or highlighter. The yummy glosses did grab my attention until I saw the word clean on it. I stay clear of anything clean beauty. The concealer? I use the serum one from Neutrogena. I use the same amount as you and it gives me the coverage I need. The FB one didn't look like it did that. The only good thing I can say about any of these products is how someone without greasy lids can use the lighter concealer shade you got as a primer. That's not something I can do but just like it worked for you it'll do the same for others. Sorry so negative but these days everything seems to be the same across brands. They need to step their game up... 🤷♀️
You are a beautiful woman and this makeup that you did today makes you even more beautiful❤
I think this eye look is really pretty with the cool pinks which are hard to find
Did you ever find another holy grail mousse for your hair? And what is it? I'm looking for a new one.
The glow bar is soft and would probably work well for my look. Not opposed to more shimmer on others, but subtle is more flattering on my aging face. Love that eye palette!

I love that Colourpop palette! Thanks for using it. I always appreciate the help!!

I’ve come to realize I adore Colourpop eyeshadow palettes but that’s where it ends. They make some killer eyeshadow.
I want to adore their eyeshadow but every attempt I make to try it is thwarted lol...the palettes I liked at target were broken or icky (last ones on the shelf), I've had numerous problems ordering online (mostly my cheap self not wanting to pay shipping & only wanting one thing). I have to admit, I love the thick lashes ❤ and the eyeshadow palette
I love that Palette so much I bought THREE backups hahahaha the white on the lid is stunning!
I was coming here to say that too! So so pretty
Mandy! Do you love Megyn Kelly? I listen to her every day!
I thought I recognized Megan Kelly's voice during the lash application 😂
I have that colourpop palette and OMG it is my absolute favorite pallet right now. sooo many things I have done with all the colors. love love that soft blue; looks so good with my amber eye color. ... and, up until now, I, too got burned out by colourpop.... too many paletts, too many silly child-like products, just too too much in general. Beautiful! Always so baffled when you say your eyes are small! I think your eyes are much larger than average. If your eyes are small, mine are teeny tiny!
Same!
I think the Colour Pop palette is very pretty. It's kind like a wash of colour. Not to light and not to dark. To me very classic.
Beautiful eye look
A sponge tip applicator might have worked well with that darker shimmer.
That eyeshadow palette is so pretty-it’s lovely on you Mandy.
That is literally the reason why I don't ever bother with false lashes! LOL I don't have that kind of time...
I'm glad u feel the same way as me with the eyelashes, I have small eyes too and they always feel heavy and I don't like the way they look. I was a bridemaid and the makeup artist insisted to put them on and got upset w me when at the end took them off😬😅
I love that ColourPop pallette. I think you look lovely. I can't do fake lashes, I want to try a half lash haven't done it yet.❤
I want to look like a disco ball 🪩!!!!! 💛🌻
Mandy, Today, Sun. 8/13, TJ MAXX has several Flower Beauty makeup products on their wedsite.
your eye make up looks great , glad you found a new eye palette as I know you dont have any lol
Hey Mandy, love the video!! We really don't hear you mention a lot about skincare. My face is going through, I don't know what. I guess it's the awful heat and humidity. You are not alone in the struggle with lashes! I love your excitement over the lip gloss. Thanks for the video.
Beautiful look. Nice palette. I kind of like the lashes. Sultry.
This is a beautiful look. Love the eyeshadow. Funny you’ve gotten out of Colourpop and I’ve recently gotten back into it. I hadn’t bought anything in a long time but bought several in the last few months.
I have 5 of their pallets. That is who I went with as I am getting back into makeup.
OK gonna have to get that Color Pop pallet, I love cool pink, especially for spring. And I love your cheeks! So pretty! If you end up not liking it, I'm sure you have followers that would take it off your hands. 🙋♀️😉 You're absolutely stunning as always!
Mandy, that shadow palette looks like a dupe for UD naked 3 mini...
Do you use your sponge dry or dampened?
Love the look! The lashes may be a bit heavy... maybe try a lighter mascara next time. I just got the Petals En Pointe shadow palette... am looking forward to trying it out!

Your eyes look so beautiful! And I don't think you have small eyes. You should try more cool toned makeup.
I love the CP paletts. I don't own that one specifically. It's a pretty colourstory.

Beautiful look with or without the falsies!. You lashes are gorgeous with the Tower 28. ❤
Love the lashes, sorry, and I NEVER EVER wear false lashes!
I got the flower concealer in light medium and it’s super dark. At least a shade darker than my foundation.
During the day I definitely avoid looking like a disco ball. In natural light, I have too much texture to wear high beam highlighter.

Love the eye look today..gorgeous ❤ i have 3 sets of lashes, i really have to try and learn how to put them on myself!! 😅
This is one of my favorite looks on you, especially the eye shadow.
That Flower beauty concealer is SO Good! Have been using it non-stop for the past 6-8 weeks.
I would of never believed you have a son in college. 😮
You could put mud on your face and look beautiful.
Beautiful soft look, I have not used false lashes as of yet but with my small eyes, I’m definitely with you on the lash style…💜
Hello beautiful MandyLea 😍
At 66 yo, the Tarte palette would look great 😉
Love the eye shadows and lip liner
Love the eyeshadow palette. When it was released the reviews were not good but I love it here. My Colour story to perfection
Your eye look turned out beautifully 😍
That look stunning on you.
Love the entire pink vibe
Nyx has darkening drops to add to foundation..highly recommend
Oh, but Mandy those lashes look STUNNING on you! So pretty! :)
The Glow Bar in my opinion was gorgeous on you. I’m coming from a place of “your skin looks great” not “ whoa, that’s some highlighter!” As I have aged(50) I would rather get compliments on how my skin looks than how my makeup looks.

Hi Mandy ! Your skin looks flawless with the Tarte products . It gives you a natural glow, so pretty ! Have a good day ! 🌻
Your eyeshadow looks fabulous.❤ Thanks for the honesty
You don’t need false lashes. Your natural lashes are every woman’s wish.
I did not like the glow bar at all. The glow powder and highlighter look exactly the same on me. For $50 Tarte should’ve done better.
I thought it all looked good! Even the lashes! 😂 but if they're uncomfortable it's a no!
Hi Mandy! Perhaps you could try to trim false eyelashes from the outer hedge instead of the inner one in order to keep the look softer... This final look was beautiful anyway!

Looooove the petals en pointe palette! One of my favorite go to ones!
So pretty
Very beautiful I look still looking for a good eyeliner???
Looks better without the false lashes, you don't need them 😄
Hi love ❤ I think the lashes look a bit too heavy on your beautiful eyes😮
Lashes look great, but the timre required is unacceptable.
Such a pretty look! I think the lashes look very pretty on you too❤
I'd like to see tarte alter ego eyeshadow palette on you.
Your makeup looks beautiful!
I love lashes! I wish I had the patience to wear them!! I put on my makeup at 330am. I just cannot. 😂
3:30 am me too!!!!
You look beautiful
Love the eye palette!!
You look gorgeous 😍
You do such beautiful eye looks, but the blueness under your eyes could be corrected by using a corrector under you concealer. Hope that helps.
I haven't tried any of these and I don't plan to. The palette is one that you can get the same looks with if you already have those shades in other palettes. I like the lashes on you - they go well wiith the feminine, soft look.
