Linda sure is a beauty. I had no idea she was so amazing. Thank you for this awesome channel. It is only now after Lisa Marie's untimely and very sad passing that I am getting into the Presley history. Though I have always loved Elvis, I never did a double-deep- dive into his life. I knew the usual stuff like he was such a generous and kind man, that he loved God and his mama, etc. SOOO many of his songs make me cry like a baby my whole life. Often I cant listen when I am driving and stuff because I cant help but be seemly moved by his soulful voice. He has always touched my soul but NOW I get to learn so much more The morning of August 16, 1977, I remember it was a hot Sunday morning in NYC and I was a 14 and my heart just sank and broke. I have one of his original albums and I treasure it, gifted to me by a sweet ex boyfriend who dedicated to me the song- "Love Me." Ahhh young love. I wish I could have a do-over. One sad fact about life is there is no going back...guess thats a good thing too! God knows best. RIP-ELVIS, BENJAMIN, LISA MARIE. ❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✝✝✝Thank you very much and God bless you.

I miss this style of talk show like Larry King. A more serious and traditional way of interview, without all that jokes like Jimmy Fallon style. And Linda seems to be a very honest and down-to-earth woman. She was very good for Elvis, I didn't understand why they broke up and he stayed with Ginger.

She’s the only one I believe. If you watch some of her earlier interviews. Her story never ever changes and she is still just as precise, in every interview.
It was very hard for her to walk away but she said after she realized he was self destructing she just couldn’t watch it.
In one nterview or video I watched one of Elvis’s crew said he had decided it was time to end it and that he knew she wanted marriage but actually she had made a decision that she didn’t want that any longer. That she didn’t want to raise children with someone who slept all day and was up all night! But that
is when she also realized he was taking pills to sleep and taking pills to wake up.
His doctors killed him.
The last 6 months he was alive he was prescribed over 5000 Class A narcotics.
Like Dilata super pain med. I mean you don’t get prescribed that unless you have been in a serious accident , serious surgery . Valium, just a list ! Big story behind that.
They should have all lost their licenses, and been jailed.

My respect for Linda has grown more every-time I see interviews over the years. She says that when she left Elvis she drove away in her old car leaving gifts of fancy cars etc behind. Head held high.

I agree. I can’t say enough about her book. It was a page turner and I loved reading about the three loves of her life. I think it was nice that she shared this with the public. She should have gotten much more credit for her songwriting talent.

Well she didn't mind living in a house with her parent's that Elvis gave them and still payed for rent on the house even after they split up and when Elvis died and his estate said that they couldn't continue paying for the house she decided to challenge Elvis estate instead of just paying for it her self when she was making loads of money yes she is amazing NOT

I was lucky enough to take the tour of Graceland in 1985. My favorite room of the “house” was the Jungle Room - because of the waterfall.

Linda is beautiful and intelligent and an honest soul. Women were different then perhaps more naive but this beauty was way ahead of her time

If I were a famous person (of which I am not) and I was interviewed by Larry King, I think I would shut up, stop and just stare at him. If he asked me why I became to silent I would say...."Because every time I open my mouth you interrupt me!" Then I would probably tell him he is rude by interrupting, I would get up and walk out and never, ever want to be involved in any other interview with him ever again!!

Linda Thompson was one of the best things that ever happened to Elvis.She truly deeply sincerely loved and cared for him and actually saved his life many times during the years they were together.If it hadn't been for her we might have lost Elvis alot sooner than what we did and I believe had she been there towards the end instead of Ginger Alden that tragic heartbreaking day wouldn't have happened.

I have listened to Linda’s book…..sad that Elvis was willing to let her go! She knew that Ginger was in, and he sent her home. I will always wonder if she could have saved Elvis that night by getting him help. She always watched over him.

Linda Thomas isn't what you would call pretty, but she has a heart of gold. I was surprise to find Linda cheated with Elvis' piano player David after doing research. She claimed she left him b/c of his addiction to prescriptions, but she left Elvis after the fling with David. Linda also states she was young when she met Elvis, but she was 22. During that time period that wasn't what you would call young . Girls 25 or older were worried if they hadn't found a husband. Pricilla was just about three weeks into her 14th birthday when she met Elvis. Now. That's young!

They didn't go to bed until it was already morning but he got up to use the bathroom and Ginger fell asleep. You can't expect someone to watch another person 24/7! I truly believe that she loved him deeply and tried her best to look out for his health. But give the girl a break! She was only 21 years old when he died and didn't have any experience dealing with anyone who obviously had addiction issues. Yes, his death was a tragic shame but in no way should anyone lay any blame on Ginger Alden!!

Being a military brat and having family from the eastern state between the north and south. If you are a yank the military will turn you into a southernor. Elvis did not even want to get married to pricilla but he was under pressure from colonel and Priscillas parents. Elvis had alot of girlfriends especially on tour. He had evryone from actresses to the he haw girls. I think elvis would have lived a little longer if he was still with linda. She saved his life twice and could never sleep until elvis slept and if he got up she always checked on him. And its very very hard to get an addicted person of drugs it has to be themselves to want to stop.
