Elite ralphamale clip
If it weren't for Symphonies of Sickness/John Peel Sessions, Using Sickness as a Hero & Pod vládou biče, I would say that O agios pethane is peak grind (admittedly, Human Remains & early !T.O.O.H.! aren't pure deathgrind). Depraved & supreme nonetheless. Blood definitely deserves more love, hence the mandatory thumbs-up from my part.
On a different note, meshing deep cut lolcows & k-pop wenches into metal retro-perspectives fit like a glove, oddly enough.
9:15 mandatory thumbs up for Mr. Plinkett
Honorable mention to Abduction Ritual by Fallen Christ, which drummer Alex Hernandez played for before Immolation.
Oh yeah, that one's a classic. It's like Immolation if they played grind.
Great video! I would love to hear you talk about order from chaos
you should do a video on Aryan Art
Can we also mention that Dominus A.S (the guy behind Naked Whipper) did the vocals for Christbait
He was also in Nyctophobic for a while too. I wanted to talk about that band and Deathcore (the first Blood vocalist's post-Blood band), but this one ended up being long enough on its own.
One of the best bands of all time. German grind is super underrated shit like Dead, Gut and Ncythiphobic
AYO IT'S THE MEAT MAN
Yeah German grind's some of my favorite stuff. I also really like Depression if you've heard them.
@@radiofreeinnsmouth1337depression is great
@@Intestine_Ballin-ismin the flesh
I actually thought someone from Blood was in Depression for years, but it turns out my wires got crossed and they'd both just done splits with Agathocles. They do give me heavy Blood vibes though, particularly on that 2000 album.
Awesome video - completely agree that Blood are super under rated and deserve more attention. You went through their style in great detail and I’ve never really seen anyone pull it apart like that. So, kudos!
I’d only ever heard the Blood / Impetigo split until I saw Blood live and it was a “where the fuck have I been” moment, those guys absolutely killed it. To add to the album’s recommended in the video, I really like Gas Flame Bones from 1999, but that might be because it was the first full length I heard.
Again, excellent video. Cheers!
I shit you not I saw a black teenager wearing a Blood shirt a few weeks ago; he was probably wearing it because wearing oldskool metal shirts is a hip thing among shitty current rap fans, but that's still one more person I've seen one of their shirts in the wild than I've seen wearing Carcass, Obituary and Slaughter shirts combined. That's got to count for something, right?
Nah I think he was forreal.
If he was wearing a Metallica or Megadeth shirt or something you can get from a Hot Topic that's one thing but most metalheads aren't talking about this band.
Like dude I've seen black people in concerts its not like they're banned from going to shows 💀
Are you sure that black teenager wasn’t caller of the storm going on daily stroll to desacrate some graves?
lol it's probably like caller of the storms' kid, they're some of the only people I've seen wearing blood shirts
Awesome, been getting into Blood a lot recently. Christbait in particular is a favorite of mine.
German grind is so good, one of my favourites is arschheld. Only one demo but it’s such a weird mix of black metal and grindcore, but in a way that I haven’t really heard anyone else do, very cool stuff
Found Blood years ago due to my excursions into the ANUS personally. Such a great band.
Bloody hell. My grindcore collection is limited, will give them a look, very nice.
I need to listen to more Blood I only heard Impulse to Destroy, the Nunslaughter spilt and my personal favorite O Agios Pethane. But I thank you for this video as it inspires me to check out their other materiel. Good job!
O Agios Pethane and Dysangelium are about tied for me, that's like essential grind
I've been a fan of Blood for a bit over a decade now, so it really pleases me to see someone make a video on them, especially the stuff post-Impulse to Destroy.
All the albums after Impulse to Destroy seem to be pretty neglected by people nowadays, which is a shame.
My introduction to them was actually through Inferno while I was going for a run. I think I went through my session a few seconds quicker than usual that time haha.
Yo christbait was lit af
O Agios Pethane = The Saint Is Dead (or Has Died)
You're welcome.
There is a reason Will Rahmer has a sticker from Blood on his Bass since forever. Extremly underrated Band, even in the german/austrian scene. Would be sick to see a Disatrous Murmur/Disharmonic Orchestra/Pungent Stench Episode once! Cheers from Austria
Yeah, blood are awesome, but the coolness factor of your Canadian powerlifting skinheads who only care about lifting heavy, hockey, beer and bitches is almost unmatched.
IMO the most underrated Canadian band is probably Axis of Advance.
On another note, I miss the old NWN!-forum...
That first Axis album is absolutely devastating.
@@rudolfantlerofficial I mean, all of their albums are awesome. How they combine the war metal stuff with midtempo and melodic parts, while having awesome riffs. Revenge are not even in the same league!
Mr. Treblinkett
O agios made me think Blood was Greek for some reason. Pretty sure I saw Caller or Winds wearing Blood shirts, hence why I even checked em out before
do you like impetigo?
Hell yeah
cant stop staring at blood soaked jihyo
It's actually fire that I turned into a texture and used as an overlay, I went with that because it kind of matched the orange/black/white color scheme on the Dysangelium cover
@@radiofreeinnsmouth1337 She looks fine as hell like that
I thought this was going to be the visual kei band Blood.
Is there a bad blood album?
what song is that riff from the outro? I've heard it hundreds of times but I just cant remember what it is, this might mean im a poser but whatever lol
It's Batushka's first album
