I just made my first purchase: 20 of the new 2022 Wyoming 1-unit Goldbacks. I plan to only purchase 1's as using them will result in the least amount of fiat currency being given back as change in any transaction. Being actually able to spend them (whenever that becomes possible in Alabama) is my only interest in buying them, not for stacking or collecting. As for the high premium, their utility makes up for it, and especially as the value of the gold content will continue to rise to where the money paid for them today will be much LESS than their worth in the future.
@@LibertyStacking Do you have experience buying with goldbacks? I bought some NH and am waiting on them in the mail. Gold back website says 3.95$/1 Goldback exchange rate as of today. I'm curious what rate business's in NH will use.
@@jmo82592 I have not. They are not recognized in Louisiana as a voluntary currency, how I have heard so some person dealing with here. But I have no experience with them. Having said that Ron at Atlas Survival Shelters did a video of him at an Expo shopping with them.
@@LibertyStacking Awesome, I will check out Ron's video. I live in Vermont half hour from NH. I will update on my experience. What I paid for my goldbacks vs how they value them.
GBs made for spending circulation that's it. In a SHTF sit you'd be wishing you had a stack for them and im not a doomsdaypepper, but it's good to have to spend on small things in your area.
I regularly Obtain Goldbacks, and I guess I gave away as much as I Trade with them - I am educating others as to what these are - I will typically set back ten or more of each State, each Denomination and each Year, but I INTEND on using Goldbacks as they were intended, to be used in TRADE! - I know, I know, Gold has to hit $5,000 for me to 'Break Even' - I am in this for the long haul, waiting a few Years is no biggie - Will our CURRENCY last that long? - Imma no Banking any more Money than I HAVE to (Bills, Taxes, whatnot...)
Awesome video bro. I’m definitely not sold on any of this stuff. I use goldbacks to send out in my sticker packs. Premiums are just way too stupid. Very well put together video though bro. Well done my friend. Super honest and informative.
Thanks PPP. They are cool as shit but premiums on the silver are nuts - 1oz of silver would be over $9k, which you could buy several once’s of gold for.
Premium is high but you get 100 percent of it back when you spend it. Don't stack them like coins. Stack them for spending. Ace Hardware in Utah accepts them. Hundreds of other business accept them around the USA. And they all trade them at the recommended rate found on the official goldback web page. Therefore the premium doesn't matter.
@@LibertyStacking oh, good point about the silverback. Yes, the premium on the silverback is ridiculous but at least the silverback has written on it, "collectible." It's not supposed to be used as specie legal tender like the goldacks.
Definitely not for stacking but they are beautiful. Can't blame you for collecting them. Whatever they end up doing in the future, you're still collecting history.
I don’t think goldbacks are going away anytime soon, they have a wow factor. I don’t know if they will ever become mainstream, but it would be cool as shit if they did.

If more states follow suit, I think they will become more mainstream and may lower price.

Silverback. Hmmmmm……another interesting product. Definitely want one as a collectible.
There’s a slight premium to say the least.

I found an army surplus store by me which will accept them so wish me luck on the deal.
I couldn't agree more!
the 2019 goldback is selling for crazy prices because there very limited. first year edition.
The first edition usually is the most sought after.
I have a few Goldbacks myself and love them as collecting/art. Definitely not for stacking. ❤️🔥
I typically don’t buy them unless I’m a few bucks short of a free shipping offer then I will add some.
Silverbacks are super cool, nice pickup.
Thank you. I think in 2023 I’m gonna branch out my stack more and buy foreign silver.
the silverback is rare because very few will be made.
100,000 is not really that rare in opinion.
I wouldn’t spend $10 for that haha but definitely cool!
That statement doesn’t surprise me🤣🤣
I have a 1 and my friend DT gave me a 5 goldback , I think they are awesome . Very very hard to get in Australia so I think I’m a very lucky boy 😊
Are they banned in Australia or do bullion markets just don’t sell them in your country?
BullionMax had some recently

So the other day I found a local gun shop that would accept them. I was totally shocked.
I got a new gun at a pawn shop and did the deal in Goldbacks.

@@gomcse good to hear they are being accepted at local vendors.

@@gomcse I could find anything on it being legal tinder. Plus it would be easier to use 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, 1 ounce rounds then a 1/1000 ounce

Hey thanks for subscribing Ed.

@@LibertyStacking agreed. I'm waiting for my state to issue there's. Then I'd get some for whatever businesses utilize them.
@@B29p I’m hoping Louisiana gets them.
You called it fractional gold. I definitely don’t see it that way. It is just a product with some gold in it.
Wouldn’t it be a faction of an ounce?
👍👍👍

Thank you CB

As you should be JK.
