Inbound and Outbound delivery | A guide to Inbound and Outbound logistics process with flow chart

In this tutorial we have explained about Inbound and Outbound delivery process in SAP and its process with a flow chart which explains clearly how the Inbound and Outbound delivery is done in a company. It will help you to guide how exactly the Inbound and Outbound logistics process is done.
Inbound - When Purchase Order is created to vendor , they provide the material ..once it is reached to the warehouse / shipping point.
(As per confirmation based on ASN (Advance Shipping Notifications) between supplier and customer) - Then Inbound processing will start.(
Inbound details )
Outbound - When a store /customer raises a Sales order to the company , the company creates an outbound delivery process. (From Storage bin to delivery pick up van)
GR (Goods Received) - Received the goods at Shipping point /Warehouse based on purchase order. GR will start once based on inbound delivery and updates into production or company account.
GI(Goods Issue) - Once Outbound delivery is done at shipping point , then it will generate
A GI process which contains lowering inventory stock at warehouse and updating the financial doc.
