Some of the old Toy Biz Spider-Man toys weren't too bad--great articulation and reasonably strong ankles.

It looks great in poses but it looks a bit oddly shaped and lanky standing up straight

I love both this figure and the MAFEX Batman. I actually don't mind the joints popping apart on the Batman at all cuz at least I know nothing's gonna break

Is it just me, or is the shade of blue a bit too dark?

Adrian My color correction/white balance might be throwing off the actual color.

Good review! I still want to get this figure cause I think the price is just about the right, the size is great (although a turn-off when I think of displaying him next to other characters) and overall I think they did a pretty good job with articulation. IMO this is so far the best spider-man figure in this scale.
On the other hand, you gave me a pretty good warning about the durability of its joints (I wonder if the materials aren't the greatest, hence the cheaper price in comparison with other lines) and last but not least, I did not enjoy this movie at all (but I'm willing to overlook that).
Maybe now that Spidey will show up in the marvel universe figuarts gets to do its version, but how long until that...?

I think your loose joint problem is just for your figure. On mine most of all the joints are very stiff

Benbot Eh. I think they're about even - Figma bodies aren't exactly the most articulated out there. Also, they don't have the ASM2 costume :/
