Good Question! Primer was a mixture of high build primer and normal. 2 cans of high build and 4/5 of normal primer they were larger cans than the paint. Paint I believe was around 23 cans and the lacquer was around 10 cans. I must add at the time my partner worked at Halfords so her discount helped. But even without I’d say it was around £400 or just under.
No worries at all. Just take your time the better the prep the nicer the paint should come out. I didn’t rate the Lacquer from Halfords it dripped from the nozzle a lot. That’s why the bonnet was so bad. The paint was pretty good though.
