Federico Lupi thanks a lot man! Im really happy with my 8000 subscribers actually. I can't wait to hit 10.000, thats gonna be magic! I have a few ideas for future videos that I thing might be nice but... You never know, right? Thanks for watching, it means a lot!
Nice beat! I also gotta say how much I appreciate that you put so much fucking effort into the video production of these beat making videos! Makes these even more enjoyable to watch. Hope you eventually have one of your videos go viral or something, so you can get the viewership you deserve!
Faktorial || thanks a lot man! Thanks for noticing the work I put in it, I'll try to post videos weekly again so stick around the channel for more stuff :)
yellojello22 shure! I guess it'll be hard to make a proper tutorial on what to sample and what not to sample but... I can make a video on how I pick samples and what I like to work with. There is no right or wrong when it comes to sample picking. Thanks for watching!
This been my issue for a min. I know the in and outs of the 2500jjosxl. I’ve been just chopping on the kick and snare forever as well as layering drums. My prob is finding the right samples. I’ve been chopping and tuning down just to get the one instrument at beginning. When you go through a record and catch everything on the one should it be the same instrument? Never had any guidance just RUclips. Tired of chopping in 16 and 32 after looping just to play it back and skip a few pads here and there to make a different loop.
I know the struggle! I'm not an expert but I'd say: Stop chopping on the kicks and snares and stop trying to find the "right BPM" of the sample to make it "fit" That's the most common way to think about sampling so: stop it. Pick a sample with some sounds you like (without too many drum hits maybe?) Chop it in weird places, make some copies short, others long... Try different pitches and start playing different patterns over a drum loop til you come up with something cool. There are no bad samples, just bad chopping and editing. Good luck :)
Such a mood! Hey brother, Im just taking my first steps with a MPC STUDIO, and now Im getting a Technics SL 1200 MK2. Is there a way to sample without a dj pro mixer? May be an audio interface? am I right? Or would you recommend a brand new USB TT instead? keep it up, and thank u so much, peace -.-
eejey almost all of my records comes from second hand shops and flee markets. "You get knocked the f**ck out like Mike Tyson" is a vocal sample I found on DJ crates - 1000 cutz. A normal battle record
Maxpiz yeah, sometimes I use the OP-1, sometimes Maschine. In this case I really didn't know what part of the sample to use so I recorded a lot of it. OP-1 only samples for 12 seconds so that's why I went with Maschine this time around.
I have both but I use MK2. MK1 is a bit old nowadays, I'd go with the MK2 if I were you... That'll stay relevant longer. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!
nice vid :)i got MK2 too . But its possible to pitch up all sounds of one group in the same time ? because when i pitch up its only on one sound and i need to make for all other sounds . thanks
Hey bro, I would like to ask u something. Suppose you have a sample in which two instruments are played in stereo, one sounds on the right speaker and one on the left speaker. Now you want to capture just one of them, how do u do it? I know it's possible but i don't know how. Thanks in advance and please, Do not stop uploading videos!!!
Raul Gr hey! In Maschine? I normally just sample the stereo track as is. Then I apply the Guitar Rig plugin on the group and chose the left or right side of the track as input (on the top of the guitar rig GUI). That makes the mono signal double as a stereo track! The easier way is to just select R or L mono as input when your sampling the track in Maschine, that is available right on the hardware. There are many ways to do this. I just use the complicated workaround to be able to bring in a little bit of the other (not used) side if I want to use it later on. I wont stop just yet, dont you worry :)) Thanks for watching
Ajb20 2020 the Op-1 is about 1000$, the Maschine around 600 and the turntable around 500 used. Bot cheap but the same kind of music could be made on any ipad or iphone really. Its just not as fun :p
amazing video. can I send you a drum pack? I've been working on a lofi hip-hop pack. I want to see if you like it. your feedback matters to me. thanks dude
Why only 8k subs? You are one of the best on YT that chops, samples ecc. For you i think 1.000.000+ subs are good. ❤️
Give it time and he will pass 50 000 no problem!
Federico Lupi thanks a lot man!

eejey almost all of my records comes from second hand shops and flee markets.
"You get knocked the f**ck out like Mike Tyson" is a vocal sample I found on DJ crates - 1000 cutz. A normal battle record
Accurate Beats thanks for getting back to me, ive been thrifting my records too, it can be very hit or miss.
Why you choose to use maschine instead op-1 to sample?
he changes it up, he uses the OP-1 in a ton of other videos
Maxpiz yeah, sometimes I use the OP-1, sometimes Maschine.
In this case I really didn't know what part of the sample to use so I recorded a lot of it. OP-1 only samples for 12 seconds so that's why I went with Maschine this time around.
do you use a maschine mk1 or mk2? which would you reccomend to someone who wanted to upgrade from my mpd26?
I have both but I use MK2. MK1 is a bit old nowadays, I'd go with the MK2 if I were you... That'll stay relevant longer.
