Would loooove to see Reneé Rapp as a guest on here!! She’s hilarious and was amazing at chatting about this stuff on her lives back in the day she’s great ❤
Well that’s a crossover i didn’t expect. Madeline is such a naturally funny person. I’m only like 2 years younger than Shannon so I grew up with her and the tumblr era and it’s so interesting when you hear people compare the perspectives and experiences today.
As a 23 year old who’s been watching Shannon since the age of 15, and now keeping up with Madeline’s content too, seeing the different yet similar stories from two queer people with almost 10 years difference made this episode really special. It’s very comforting knowing there’s no right or wrong time for your experiences to occur in life.
Never seen Madeline so “calm” before. It was so cute and refreshing to see. I think Shannon’s vibe is just so calm and chill. That her vibe allowed Madeline to just take a breath and relax. Loved this episode!!!
Funnily enough there's a comment above saying they've never seen her so nervous before 😅 I've never seen her before at all so now I'm baffled by her normal demeanor 😂
Me toooo I feel like I can relate to her on a lot of things it’s actually helped me a lot when she said “I can’t think myself into an answer” bc she’s a physical learner lol
Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together ,it was a really bad phase but we got through it.
its always difficult to let someone you love go, but in my case I had the help of a spiritual adviser who saved my marriage from collapsing her name is SHELLY RENEE WHITE.
She kinda looks like dianna agron and that's probably the highest compliment I can give someone. And Shan, I love your hair. You're shining on your best colors, I just don't know how to explain
Towa Bird would be a dream guest on here!!!! Super cool half Filipino half British music artist and guitarist she’s a lot of fun and such a vibe (and lesbian!)
Loved it❤❤, Madeline is so sweet, and is the first time i see her a bit shy. That thing about say "i love u" so soon, i think like her hahahah i dont find it normal, to say it so fast That part when u describe the situation with a song "if the World was ending" thats 🥹 Loved every single second of this
1. Is a letter to myself everyone’s comfort video? 2. All the femme lesbians are in Milwaukee, there’s a plethora of us here 3. There’s so much to say about intense relationships in queer folk and how that ties to how much representation we had growing up
Oh my god. I didn't realise that it's christians who call whatever relationship they don't condone "codependent". I thought it was random homophobes who did this. This is scary.
As a born and raised Torontonian... you can tell that your besties live there by how you say Toronto THE RIGHT WAY! Thank you for not enunciating the second T and saving all of us torontonians a big ick hehe.

Aww, Shannon is like Linus from The Peanuts, with his blankets about her hats.💜 I really enjoyed this episode. What Madeline said about how we just assume that we are straight in the beginning of finding our sexual identity really resonated with me because I grew up in a heteronormative generation, and because of that I always assumed I was straight. However, now that I'm older and fully identify as bi, I have looked back on the past and the feelings I've had about girls, now I know it was because I liked them. What Madeline said about how straight people don't obsess over whether or not they like girls is FACTS. Because that is literally me. I have been so anxious about realizing that I like girls, and mentally checked in with myself like, "wait are you sure?" then I see the type of girl I'm attracted to out in public, or on tv, or wherever, and my heart races, I get all warm and flushed, and then I'm like, "yup. Um..Yup, I am definitely sure." LOL. It's wild how we live in a world where for the most part people assume you're straight unless you tell them otherwise. It's truly interesting that the "default setting" of human sexuality is seen as straight.
I cut on the toilet but not backwards...and I use a plastic large pan to gather up all the shards. Back to you...the interview was great as usual. I learn so much. Thanks Shannon.
trimming toenails: either in the backyard on a chair and swept into the grass (preferably), on the toilet into the trash, or i take a chair next to the kitchen trash. tbh i don't trim or paint my toe nails much unless I really need it. i kinda just consider feet as always ugly. as long as evrything is clean and moisturized then its fine.
The difference between millennials and gen zers as far as being openly gay is a true thing....not saying their journey was easier, but jealous of their ability (for the most part) to be open in high school. How different my life would have been....
You are so pretty and the yellow I had a good cry last night feeling overwhelmed love this podcast ❤❤❤ it makes me calm I clip my nails in the bathroom love u too Shannon
The thing I am starting to be scared about is that lesbian relationships were all about flexibility and not fitting in any pattern. But now we are conceptualizing gay relationships so much that just like heterosexual relationships we draw patterns in the marble. I honestly believe that u haul phenomenon happens to heterosexual, saw people moved in after 2 months as well etc. It’s maybe because exactly being cut from heterosexuals we forget that everyone is just human and act out on their feelings. If something, a gay relationship can be more intense for many external reasons. But that’s it. Love is love…
Clipping your nails "sitting backwards on the toilet"? I can't even visualize what this means? Like straddling the toilet? 🤨 I'm having trouble understanding the advantage of being on a toilet instead of a chair; are the clippings going into the toilet bowl? I have a plastic grocery bag that I have designated for nail trimming. I put my hand (or foot) inside and clip the nails inside the bag so that the bag will catch the clippings, then I empty the bag into the trash and fold up the bag and store it for next time.
i find interesting how it seems like she only dated “crazy”/toxic girls and now it’s with a guy that seems to be great for her. usually it’s the other way around. she’s crazy beautiful, tho.
@@ajajajjakslajdks i'm sure not as much as with men. society raises men to be douches. women obviously can be toxic depending on their background but usually women are protective of each other.

I have never seen Madeline this nervous before, its cute to see. Definitely because she grew up watching Shannon and is trying to keep her cool :)
