Hi Sway! Jicama is a Mexican root (turnip) it's sweeter than a turnip. Its usually served peeled, cut in strips, seasoned with lemon, salt or Tajín. It is so good served cold. Peak season it's very nice served with pepino too! It's 11 grams carbs and 0 sugar per cup. Good stuff!! The skin should be smooth and not bruised! Nice walk thru😊
Plus it's very hydrating so it's great to keep yourself cool in the hot season. I love eating it by itself.
