- Imbolc is a (northern hemisphere) Celtic festival of renewal, fire, and fertility. Imbolc heralds the waning of winter and the impending arrival of spring (it is the midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox). Imbolc is celebrated on February 1st or 2nd, and is connected to the Celtic goddess Brigid, who is the goddess of inspiration and creativity, healing, smith craft and poetry. (As Christianity spread from Rome to northern Europe and the British Isles Imbolc was adopted as Candlemass).
In Celtic lore, the Goddess Brigid embodies the maiden aspect of the triple goddess-a symbol of youthful potential, inspiration, and fertility. Her name means the high or exalted one, and she is the goddess of healing, fire, creativity, and illumination. She is associated with the emergence of spring, and the return of the sun. Fire played a pivotal role at this time, symbolising Brigid's sacred flame and the returning upward surging vitality to the land.
This transmission is designed to release the energies of the past year in a bright flame. To release the energy of winter within you to open to the bright possibilities and potential of the light of Spring within you.

He almost died two weeks ago-his kidneys...But he survived-and this cleansing guided meditation made it feel like it was dark wintertime here in the north-that it happened. Wow, what a divine "accident" I had too much fire energy going, causing anxiety. Once I dismissed the source, claiming to go at my own pace, I instantly felt peace. I sat down to listen to healing tones and my fingers stumbled, phone bounced around and this started playing😅 I knew this was needed to help solidify my choices and focus more on the energy that Brigid brings. That was so beautiful if made me cry at the end. I used to have flame red hair like this and be a nature worshipper. I make it sound like I am not anymore but I am deep under my skin to my bones as I felt it during this transition and wanting all those beautiful things to return. In imbolc i use to do ritual in wich i grow my inner light in my abyss. It begin small and then go go more bigger and luminous 🌞🌚🕳️
