HAHA! Oghren is an absolute horndog! With how horny he is im surprised he doesn't have any conversation being all naked. That would have been hilarious. Surprisingly Sigrun actually warms up to him.
I miss the banter between characters like these in Baldurs Gate 3. Sure there is some minor banter while exploring, but it was never developed to this level.
Oghren is the best anime pervert in a Western game.

I hated Oghren in Awakening, main reason being I loved him in Origins but they just threw away all development he had
Hells, I remember how happy he was in the end, how Warden raised him from dirt and made him warrior again

Also- Ogren my man! Pity Bioware will never have another character like him. They can't risk offending people these days. People want a remastered Dragon Age. I don't. They would censore everything and make it 'safe'.

Eeeeeh, I’m pretty “PC”, but none of Oghren’s lines offend me. It’s pretty clear his lecherousness is the but of the joke. Would I personally make a character like him, probably not, but I don’t mind his existence in DA:O. The only thing in DA:O that I find personally offensive are the fact that Al and Morrigan are straight! I’d love to romance Morrigan as a lady. But alas.
@@fairyonice9504 I don't get how Alister and Morrigan being straight offends you. Not all characters have to be Gay, Lesbian and Bi.
@@Gsmooth84 it’s a joke. I love shipping them with PC’s of the same gender, so it makes me sad when I can’t lmao. So basically nothing in DAO offends me. Anyways, a lot of games make all romance options bi, but I can respect trying to tell different stories that are dependent on sexuality to tell (Sera and Dorian from DAI come to mind, but Morrigan’s romance kind of hinges on you both being cishet, considering the child that’s made.)
TLDR: it’s a joke, I’m not really offended.
Oghren in DAO: A reminds me much of how they butchered gimli in the movies
Oghren is a flanderized film!Gimli. Not that Oghren isn’t entertaining in these games because he really is, but Gimli is way more chivalrous, honourable, and not without his own kind of warrior’s dignity. That being said, in the books he wasn’t like his movie version, thus making any comparison to Oghren virtually impossible.
