First RV was a Tioga 29V. We bought it new in 2002. It was very well laid out, had good storage (for what it was). Dislikes, it was always overloaded (a falling off all Class C). Always got pushed around while driving down the freeway. It was a very good way to start out in RV life but you find out pretty fast you have to move on.
Fully agree with Matt on the rear view/side view cameras. In general, the mirrors give me all the view I need on the sides, but I need the rear camera on with the blinker engaged to see if the space is big enough to change lanes, especially while towing the car or sailboat. Our current coach allows the blinker triggers to be disabled and I can set up a 3 camera view on the screen in case I feel that the side views would be beneficial, like in very busy multi lane traffic. In the last coach (2012 Tiffin Open Road) I had to install a switch to disable the trigger signals. Regarding the high RPMs when pulling up hills below 60MPH, that seems to be an issue with the V10. A 5-Star tune improved this issue but for sure, the 7.3l with max torque at lower RPMs will be much better.
I just bought a 2023 enterga odyssey 25r and love it. The Godzilla engine is awesome. The power much better than my 6.8 v10. The passing power is much better.
Hey guy's just an FYI all class C's have that bumpy rides and sway in the rear. The longer the C the more you notice it. Couple easy cheap fixes. Front and rear sumo springs, and larger thicker rear and front stabilizer bars will help tremendously. You can also go with a track bar. Huge help on the class C chassis and won't break the bank!
I have a class c with the Godzilla V8 and it drives great. Did add sumo springs front and back, steering stabilizer and is an Entegra. Drives almost as good as my wife’s Yukon XL Denali.
How is this so quiet? I didn't hear any creaks from cabinet doors, or stuff moving around. Is that normal on newer Class C's or is this just a really smooth road?
Surprised that Andrew hadn't test driven a Class C. Matt, thanks for the explanation why you didn't get an Entegra. Agree, with Matt on next move is to a Super C.

Great video Andrew. I can see it’s not comfortable for a taller person to drive which is why I wouldn’t consider one myself. I’m fine at 5’2’’ but not my partner who’s over 6’ You are both sweating and looking uncomfortable and I’m not keen on bouncing around the country in a motorhome. I’d like to see the interior and I’ll try and find it. I’d much rather have a shorter class A if size is the issue. Wishing Matt every success with his poop liquidiser 😉

I was expecting a real test drive rendition. Results like: would you add sumo springs, how was sleeping, did the air conditioner work good. Did items in the cabinets maintain the spot that you put them in. Also your friend said he was taller but didn't say how tall so those of us who are bigger could judge the comfort. I always watch your videos to get good information and some entertainment. Thank you.

The complaint on the cruise control has been that way since 2000! It has been a huge problem. I’m glad to hear they fixed it!

Too much $$$ for a cheap class C (the east west entrada is literally the cheapest) and rides bad because it has zero factory suspension upgrades.
