Great guide. Did this and hit 70 in 4 hours, all bis blues at 346 and 29k bronze left. Clicking all those mailed bonus exps and going 42-70 was satisfying af lol.
Great video. I've known about the strategy of saving bonus XP until your cloak is boosted from instances, but I've never seen an actual timeline of when and where like you made.
If you miss by a bit I think the best method is to just do LFR for the rest. Not only will your atrocious gear and scaling factor not matter, you'll also get gear drops so you can upgrade your dungeon blues to 332 for pennies
Did my first alt using this method and finished today; had quested a bit beforehand so popped mailbox at 47 - and ended at 69. Finished up in LFR and could then upgrade nearly all of my slots on the cheap.
Worked for me, took a little over 3 hours to reach 70, and I really wasn't rushing. Thanks for the tip!

Nice guide. I did this yesterday on resto druid and made it in just over 4hr. Opened everything at lvl 40 and didn't reach 70. Definitely should have hit another dungeon or 2 to get to 41 or 42 to be safe.

Great tips. Have the 12+ cloak achieve on main, it's been a bit confusing end game for Remix. Am still working on achieves, Raid have Heroic SoO, Terrace (I could stand to run heroic dungeons to boost ilvl). Have 2 level 20 alts parked (unsubbed atm) for leveling and cosmetics. I've bought some Garrosh heirlooms but I'm not sure how much endgame I want to put into. I noticed the xp bonuses a lot on my leveling alts, this is a great way to utilize that. My first Remix character mostly did questing and mount/cosmetic achieves, but dungeon spam as a tank really has been nice. I got to do the raid meta as tank and dps but I'm not sure I want to grind out Tusks for instance.
Side note - you can also do this very quickly across multiple toons via just using the daily lockouts. In game time across 3 toons simulataneusly came just under 4 hours for me. Got each char leveled up and did heart of fear (along with each preivous raid as well) logged out. Next day, did my lockouts again on normal. Logged in on each at mailbox and looted to ding each. super chill means of leveling. also the biggest perk if youre just trying to get alts and by nature get bronze for the Cosmetic rewards. You'll primarily be optimizing your dmg in this way as scaling will generally mean that the lower level you are the MAJORITY of your playtime the stronger you are.
I did it in one go and was 70 in 2 hours and 44 minutes. I would advise you to get to 42 properly first, u might miss the last half bar.

can confirm this works, i did it as a guardian druid so now im getting one shotted in all dungeons hahahah, but at least im 70
As of pre-patch, my most efficient process was this:
Level 30
40 dungeon tokens
12 raid tokens (do Mogu'shan Vaults twice)
+272% exp gain
+100% from cloak
+12% per raid boss (144%)
+28% from random threads
Quest hand ins at 69 will give about 40% of a level, so anything you prepare whilst leveling is a good fallback. Quests will also reward you with a chest that might contain level appropriate gear
Yo, thanks for sharing this. My buddy and I were able to level 10-70 in 3 hours and 39 minutes. We were using trial accounts to boost the heroic dungeons for efficiency as well.
One small thing - you can keep auto loot on, just shift-click the bosses and you can manually select what you want from them. This is faster since you autoloot mobs but then just shift click the boss or caches and just don't select the XP thing
Worst case scenario: a lot of folks quit MOP and play TWW beta next week, so raids aren't readily available. In that case, just dungeon grind 10-70. It takes less than 7 hours total without doing any extra XP boosts via raids. Of course, if you're only doing heroic dungeons and saving your tokens, you'll easily shave off an hour or two by waiting until 50 and opening your mailbox. I have 8x 70s now, didn't do any raid farming, some chars only leveled via questing, etc. I've purchased all mounts, all Dungeon and World xmogs, some raid xmogs, and some of the Trading Post xmogs. I have 300K bronze remaining to earn and I'll have purchased literally everything except Mannoroth and Toys, neither of which I wanted.
Seems lots of people are clueless about how heroic works in remix. An alt in the 10-20 bracket with the achievement 12 cloak plus full rings/trinket/neck socketed will be as powerful (at least close to) as the 70 decked player. Thats why in those 10-70 bracket dungeons, you will mostly run it with the highest efficiency because it is more easier to find such 10-20 alt in your group. But once those alts will get to around 40+, the advantage comparing to a max 70 with upgraded gears will be gone, hence when you are running heroic dungons passing 40+ levels, with the same group of 40+ players, unless you will be lucky to get a random dungeon of the lower bracket to see another 10-20 players or another superb 70, your group will struggle and it will also take much longer time to complete. So you should run heroics before 40, especially getting to 25 asap is very important. But once you will get up to 40+, that method will not be as efficient as questing.
You only have to get to like lvl 42 though then turn in all the XP and you'll be lvl 70.. no need to quest at all
Can I open up the threads while in the dungeons/raid or should I open those after 41/42 then open my bonue exp last? Also did you use a mail addon?
You can also ''boost'' yourself with using a trial account, level a char to 20( Best classes priest and Monk or DH) Been leveling chars on my main account, takes from 1 hours 50 minutes to 2 hours and 5 is my average time spent leveling, doing the exact same strat as metioned above( makes it easy to level dps only classes for queing and such)

this is insane i just tried it i did it in 4 hours but i think you could do it faster it depends on how fast you can get into a normal raid like some people still look at ilvl it's kinda crazy that people put ilvl on recommedations
It really is bizarre lol, you can clear siege with fresh 70 gear if you have 346 ilvl on them for a whole raid, i understand for heroic/mythic though requiring 420/450+

I've done 2 70's off this guide. My first guardian druid I got lvl 69 with 3 bars left. 2 quests and I got a ding. Second Holy Priest I did a few extra Heroics when in groups with geared 70's or trial 20's that 1 shot everything. I ended up doing the raids both HoF and Toes @ lvl 40 and then did 2 more heroics after that. I had leftover tokens but still did it in 3hrs 25 min. I could knock off a fair bit of time on the 3rd attempt I think. If you had a dedicated team or had some prep work done you could get this down so low I think.
So when I did this and qued for a normal raid at 25, I couldnt hit anything and missed all of them, gaining me no xp and loot. Did I miss something?
*sighs* I need a quick leveling for my main that is lvl 20
A little nitpicky, but do you really need the Infinite Power XII (4200 threads) achieve, or really just the Infinite Power XI (2200 threads) achieve? The final one says it awards pets without mention of alt cloaks, whereas all the previous ones mention the extra power to the cloak. Personally, I forgot to check the cloak on my alt in between those last 2 achieves.
Tried it yesterday but it didn't work. I have a maxed cloak on another toon but on the new one my cloaked stopped getting the XP gain threads at about 211% So once I hit 40 I used the tokens and got to 63. Guess I could have just gotten fewer tokens.
Quick question: Does the 12% XP boost from each raid boss come from the XP token they drop, or something else? More specifically, should I be saving the XP tokens from the normal raids or do these need to be used when earned?
It's a thread drop you loot from the corpse. So loot threads but not the XP token

Same situation. Raid bosses drop epic token also. Do not loot them, let them go to the mailbox also.
what is the difference between looting the xp bonus directly and picking all of them from the mailbox?
You are waiting till your cloak xp bonus is higher, so you get more exp for each token.

@@wish7028 No. There are very few obtainable 36 slot regular bags, and they are usually during the limited time events like the Diablo Anniversary event. You can get 34 slot bags easily though.
What's more important? Numer of runs of xp tokens?
I'm on my second toon, with the 4200 achievement, hit MV at 25, kept going. When I was 31 i noticed that I only has 133% xp. I did not get the stated 72% xp from MV.
You must do normal mode, not LFR

My big problem is the 300%. I keep hitting 40 with only like 155% which only boosts to 60ish.
How about the method of using a trial account to boost your alt?
i think if you combine that method with this you're looking at some very fast leveling speeds.
The best and fastest way. Is to go tank. Ignore quests. Immediately queue for dungeons. Per chance encounter a level 70 with over 4 mill health ask if he wants to run you through a couple. And dungeon spam till 25 do mogushan vaults normal all the way through to get the exp bonus. Do the lfr daily, with the second wing of mogushan lfr. Do more dungeons until heart of fear lvl opens up. Do heart of fear normal get the exp bonus from every boss, by the time you get out you can do the vale raid and do a normal of that for more exp bonus. Kill heart of fear, by that point you'll be in the above 40 ish range. Find that buddy of yours you made earlier you did dungeons with. Do throne of thunder normal and pound it out (unless if you get stopped by the eye boss or the dam golem boss) kill lei shen you'll be at over a 400% exp boost and level 58 ish. Grind out those next 2-3 levels to get 60ish above. Do normal SOO and by the end you'll be 70
definitely faster to just save your xp tokens til they can ding you 70

or Spam HC dungeons. I complete each HC dungeon in 3.5 min

You must run them on normal difficulty. This sounds like your ran LFR

good guide..... but i am missing 4 Infinite power achivements..... GG fk me..... and I already have the XII higest rank achivement ...so im not getting the full bonus on alts QQ
unequip and re equip the cloak on your alt, stats should update.
@@TheMSBTV i do get stats but only from the unlocked achivements.... i am missing 4 infinite power achivements on my account..... thats the issue and when i make new alt its already high power so i cant try to "get x threads" to make achivement unlock 2nd time....
@@Devilaxes I also miss the achievements, but all what you need to have is unlocked last one, and you DO GET MAX POSSIBLE POWER CLOACK ON ALTS. (100% bonus exp+ a lot of stats - those missing achievements changes nothing.)

@@Manthieus I tried today. At the very least I didn't reach 350% but rather
200ish% sounds a lot like you did LFR for the raids, and not normal mode. LFR only awards 7% per wing, Normal awards 12% per boss.
@@Manthieus I mean, could be, I mixed and did both since premade was naturally difficult to get. But ~100-150% still sounds a lot for 1-2 LFR (7 instead of 12).
Its not 7 vs 12. Lfr is 7 total! Normal is 12 per boss. Makes a massive difference .

I appreciate the guide. My concern is this would be considered a violation of the game. This seems similar to the frogs which got nerfed and blizz is looking at reducing people who took advantage of the game. So is this legit
Well technically it is not abusing as not everyone use autoloot and let stuff go to the mail either way and open it up later on. this is same just on a bit bigger scale but it's in no form abusing it just that someone realized you get more from opening the xp mail a bit later on. It's still big risk of being nerfed but I dont think it could possibly be punishable
Your strategies have many issues because you are assuming those superior players with insane cloak stats and fully upgraded gears will keep playing remix to carry everyone. They wont. Once people are getting enough bronze in the next 7-10 days, most of those dedicated players will stop playing this mode, mainly because TWW beta will start next week. So when your character will be very weak after reaching 40+, you will struggle a lots even to find efficient normal raid group or just go back to the stage of everyone is playing their first remix character and wiping in heroics. The more efficient strategy will be to level up to 25+ asap, get into 4-5 days of LFR to up your cloak exp bonus to around 170% or so, then once reaching 40+, just stick to the quests.
Well then look at the pros and the cons. Pro. Community was right blizzard shouldve reduced gearcost by 80% and made it a very alt friendly for fun gamemode where everyones goal would be to try all the classes and get em max gear and earn the mounts naturally.

At 40+, you’ll have all the bonus exp to reach 70 sitting in your mailbox, so it becomes moot. I legit just followed guide and got to 70 in 4 hours lol
Why would you do 4-5 days of LFR for 170% cloak? I’ve been running normals and reaching 500 to 600% XP easy. I’m confused why you’d want to gimp your own XP boost.
@@Nemreaper firstly you defenitly aint reaching 500-600% xp gain... seeing as its capped at 345% i do believe, something in the 300's so either youre lying or exagerating.
secondly without lfr you hit 70 in 4-5 hours, with waiting for lfr and spending several days doing lfr its just alot slower and you dont need the extra exp gain as the tokens by level 40 will be enough
@@vhaelen326 xp% on cloak is not capped lol, I've been doing normal Vault on couple characters everyday and they are at 500+% XP. I level up almost 2 times for 1 quest turn in lol
