Here is my take on this boot for this FW season. Let me know your thoughts down below. Even though these have been the most trendy shoe to own, I still find them quite useful within my wardrobe. As i always like to mention, i want to buy items that can be versatile and last a lifetime. To me, this boot, even after the trend dies will always be a pair I can wear on any given day.

Totally agree. The thing is, they’re quite simple, just a Chelsea/combat boot. The fact that they’re an easy slip on, look good and can be worn with anything is what will make em a good piece to still wear for years to come.

have the all black pair from 2020. i can’t wait to wear them for real since i got them while in lockdown last year. i love a combat boots so this boot will be with me for years!

I copped the same black and brown iteration beginning of this year. I feel like they’re just as versatile as the lug but give a nicer shape with the chunkier and contrast colored sole. Can’t wait to style them more in the colder months!
Yh bro, that’s one of the reasons I wanted these specifically. The brown is still a dark colour but really love the silhouette of the chunky sole with these ones, they’re perfect Fam.

Hello, I'm deciding between "Tire boots" or "Lug boots"... can you please advise me or give me some advice?
I wanted to ask about the Tire boots, there is a plastic "fence"- I don't know how to describe it. Isn't that a problem? Doesn't it come off? Doesn't that make them too narrow? Doesn't it deform?

I tried them on with the transparent sole, but found them a whole lot heavier than the classic lug boots, so I stuck with the older version
Yh, I like the older version and this one. Any of the ones with too many colour pops don’t do it for me. I prefer this one cause it’s subtle!

Thanks famo, yh of course for sure can. For example Rockin these with a slouchy pair of sweats could be a look or flared trousers. covering the boot and having that pop of yellow show with a good pair of trousers could be a look.

Absolutely ! These are great for any type of wardrobe (low/high end) they’re really just a great pair of combat boots and can be so versatile within any wardrobe. Deffs would suggest them.

I bought the black and clear sole version last year, and I only wore it out twice (they are so so heavy).
However I heard the newer versions are not as heavy.
Is this true?
Umm, I still find them heavy tbh! I always expect boots to be that way, so I don’t pay too much attention to the weight. Although, I would say these are a little harder to break in compared to my previous ones, the all black classic ones.
@@gregntore Ah yes your all black Lug boots. Glad you got this one. It’s got more flair & can definitely be dressed down due to the rubber soles.
Also I struggle with the weight more because I am female with narrow feet 🤣 (zero calf muscle strength).
I might sell mine and look for a more practical alternative.

I recently got the Lug boot in size 41. I don’t find mine to be heavy at all. Before them my default daily boot was the Doc Martens 1460 and prior to that timberland work boots and before that redwing iron rangers. IMHO these are lighter and more comfortable than the others I mentioned. Great video!

Go for a size 11, you should be good with those. That’s what I went with.

Do you coat them in any leather protection? And can the shoe withstand all the snow during the winter?
Well tbh, I don’t wear them when it’s a snow blizzard out. I don’t have any leather protection product (deffs should). mostly use bits of water, vinegar to clean them if they catch bits of salt during the winter.

I think they would be just fine. I think they stop right by the calves and you have a bit of room with regards to the height.

Damn, honestly I noticed that the womens have a tendency to fit quite snug. I would say if you could stick to the mens might be better. If you have to get women’s then go 2 1/2 sizes up from your usual mens size

How do you clean these if you were to wear them in the snow ? I have the og ones so it had the soft sole
Yh dude, so I just didn’t wear them when it was overly snowing, if I did, I would usually use a cloth and a little bit of dish soap and clean them once I’m home. Definitely try to avoid wearing them heavily when we have those months were it’s constantly snowing. Maybe get you a backup boot (salvation army thrifts usually have some good ones)
