Mazzy you are great, we have the same problem in Europe, the right wings are on their way too, every voter with a clear mind knows that. It's the Music stupid.🇩🇪🇪🇺freedom of speech...
I once heard Gerry Marsden say that the Frankie Goes To Hollywood version of Ferry Cross The Mersey (B-side of Relax) earned him more money than all his other work put together.
Hi Mazzy - love the channel... I lived in The Mission district, too. Wonderful times back in the early to late '90s. So many great music & bookstores along w/ great, and cheap, 5-star local taquerias , and many other Mexican/Latin American family-owned places that served up such fine food; all having very relaxed and friendly fellow patrons and great ambiance, etc. Moved w/ work to Montreal, another fine city, just a block away from Leonard Cohen's apartment. It was a strange hybrid of Portuguese/Hassidic Jewish w/ many superb small, family-owned bagel stores... so, so tasty & filling, esp. when it was a few days before my pay-check. Sorry, I'm rambling... warmest regards from SW Japan...
Gerry Marsden released a 45 of The Bee Gees' "Gilbert Green" in 1967 which is wonderful, if only he had continued in that direction! Ferry Cross The Mersey (the film) is available on the Internet Archive site, worth viewing for the fantastic Liverpool location shots.
10cc is not only gorgeous pop music, it's also humor *in* the music (not only in the lyrics). I often think of Zappa when I hear 10cc, as he also makes "musical jokes". "Does humor belong in music?" What do you think?
I have an original copy of "World Gone Wrong" that survived my small late 90s vinyl purge. I really enjoy that one. Also, 'Dreadlock Holiday' is insanely catchy, but it is also super random. It's great when it just pops up on some playlist I've made out of the blue.
Hilarious! Speaking of politics, bringing out Volunteers for a spin. We wont get fooled again. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Apparently people don't listen...to good music
Mazzy what is your opinion of Trumps nominations? Robert Kennedy Jr to lead the US Federal Health Agency. Matt Gaetz as Attorney General Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence. I can tell you that a large percentage of Australians look on in disbelief. America is disappearing down the plughole
It's challenging finding great "deep cuts" off 10cc's albums, except for *The Original Soundtrack* which is bursting with great music. *Sheet Music* is pretty good and *Deceptive Bends* has its moments. I admire their creativity though.
Guilty! I have done the same concept for my private Facebook music group. But I show off compact discs(I'm a CD guy-deal with it) and titled it Shuffle Play. I have only done 5 so far.
Thought this would be about the price of Vinyl which, at worst, he is a more than willing victim. True of course, but a three month course of Neuro-linguistic programming will cure his addiction and save a fortune.
Don’t feel too bad, There was a couple in the VC around 2012 their whole channel was random pulls, That’s all they did and I’d wish they’d come back some day if they are still together, They were great. Their channel name was a Guns n roses song title?
Great video up to nine minutes and four seconds. RUclips wanted me to sit through 53 seconds of commercials. Time to move onto the next video. Anyone else tired of all these commercials ?
The first four Santana albums are great. I’ve never listened to 10CC. Ferry Cross The Mersey is great but I never cared for the Gerry and the Pacemakers’ albums. Freddie and the Dreamers were horrible.
That first Santana album was so awesome. I loved listening to it with headphones. It was recorded at Pacific Recorders in San Mateo (my home town), on the El Camino near 25th Ave. (The Dead recorded there too in 68-70. As I recall, the studio was in the same building as Roger Calkins' Music store, where I bought my first Tele. But back to the Santana album, yes, that cover drawing was used on a Fillmore poster for The Dead, The Sons, The Staples, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, I think in August 1968. 'So many great memories from that era.
Mazzy you are great, we have the same problem in Europe, the right wings are on their way too, every voter with a clear mind knows that. It's the Music stupid.🇩🇪🇪🇺freedom of speech...
I don't like reggae. I love it.
Mazzy… Great video
Loved it
Dreadlock Holiday is one of my very favourite songs !
Best wishes from Vancouver Island
You’re so right about Gerry Marsden, he had a great voice. I absolutely love “Don’t let the sun catch you crying”. Cheers Mazzy!
Great performance here Mazzy! So happy to see the legendary 10CC album. Old fav at parties back in the days.
I once heard Gerry Marsden say that the Frankie Goes To Hollywood version of Ferry Cross The Mersey (B-side of Relax) earned him more money than all his other work put together.
That’s a cool version.
New series idea …. 5 pulls … could go in lots of directions 😍

Yeah cool. Never been to Montreal or Toronto. In BC
Massey, "you're no good!"

Humor is great in music especially the Angry Samoans.
The most famous musical joke is probably Mozart's "Ein musikalischer Spaß“, KV 522". Look it up; it's great! 😁
All hail the back pull... U R the master whacker, sir Mazzy.
Thank you
Congrats!
You’re such a humble man!
You’re always the number one Whack A Mole!
Many of the British groups gave~up and invested in the Beatles.

I don’t like Whack-a-Mole, I love it!
I'm digging the new violent side of Mazzy!
We live in a political world
Love don’t have any place
We’re living in times where men commit crimes
And crime don’t have a face...Bob Dylan
Mazzy , Where's the money by Dan Hicks is great . Dreadlock Holiday is a true story about Justin Haywood being robbed in Jamaica.
Cool. Didn’t know that about Dreadlock 🌴
Gerry & The Ferry!
The iselect Bowie CD was given away free in the uk when you bought a copy of the Sunday Mail newspaper on 29th June 2008
I'm probably out on a limb here but I do like 10 out of 10 (the UK version though with the excellent 'Survivor' on it).
Hilarious! Speaking of politics, bringing out Volunteers for a spin. We wont get fooled again. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Apparently people don't listen...to good music
Great but not great great. Love it
Imitation remains the greatest sign of flattery. And cash. Cold, cash. The children's toy on the other hand....
Childrens ?
Mazzy what is your opinion of Trumps nominations?
Robert Kennedy Jr to lead the US Federal Health Agency.
Matt Gaetz as Attorney General
Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence.
I can tell you that a large percentage of Australians look on in disbelief. America is disappearing down the plughole
Crazy shit Especially Kennedy
Like appoints like, 1 crook?
I love your videos with political commentary interspersed! Keep ‘em coming!

How Dare You has them too
Your pulls could be more random. Lower and higher shelves. You took a concept and refined it. 😊
Mazzy ripped off my Whack A Yoko.
@@papabear1417 I literally pulled from the top shelf, middle & second from the bottom ✌🏼😇
@@mazzysmusicSure you did!
Well done! Great video Mr maslov
Thank you too!!
That Santana and Dylan I can highly recommend.
Mazzy ripped off my Whack A Yoko.
Mazzy at least your weaves make sense.
Most of the time!!!
Guilty! I have done the same concept for my private Facebook music group. But I show off compact discs(I'm a CD guy-deal with it) and titled it Shuffle Play. I have only done 5 so far.
Yeah, it goes back to the time of Cleopatra.
Love that Dan Hicks LP!! I have the CD version....
What happened to the camo hat? Will we ever see it again?
Added to the collection with my McGovern Shriver Button.
I saw the Bowie exhibition in Melbourne and regret that I didn't buy much merch. Note to self: "Always buy the merch".
Yeah, pay your way!!!
Those gummies are working for you.
Not me 🤷🏻♂️😵💫
Thought this would be about the price of Vinyl which, at worst, he is a more than willing victim. True of course, but a three month course of Neuro-linguistic programming will cure his addiction and save a fortune.
OMG hysterical.
The enjoyment of music and the musical art of it has been something I've enjoyed for 60 years.
Vote early. Vote often.
Random pull? That what she said
I also prefer Santana’s first album.
Gotta get your steps in.
Of course!!
didnt Wings cover "ferry cross the merry"?
There was a benefit single of the song. I think McCartney was included .
@mazzysmusic yes that's right
I invented the organic version: "Guac- A - Mole", listening with my friend Brett Zel. PS: Sorry for that, I'm ashamed....(or not)
With chips?

I don’t feel bad. Don’t recall them, but random pulls are just fun to do and chat about the music off the top of my head.
That's 6 pulls, 7 records.
Then it's considered a fake count!!
You did it wrong!! (that's what she said...)
Great video up to nine minutes and four seconds. RUclips wanted me to sit through 53 seconds of commercials.

@@egotrpn420 get an ad blocker or RUclips plus. Someone has to let for all their servers and staff.
When Prince was on the come up did you ever see him live?
I’ve seen him live three times
@ Before “1999”?
@@waynedexter twice before once after
@@mazzysmusic I’m jealous. Especially if one of the three was the Dirty Mind Tour. Do you have a favorite of the 3?
If anyone deserves the Whack-a-mole title it's you. I only take it seriously if you randomly pull records off the shelf.
*guero*

Excellent channel. Remember Mazzy you are welcome to live in the UK come Jan 20th👍🏼
I need to align with the resistance if they pull any shit!!
