my whole life all i ever heard people say about being an artist full time was that theyd starve and never survive, so i always tried to get into a different career. i could never be passionate about anything the way i am about art, so it was pretty hard. in the past couple weeks, ive been crazy motivated ot at least get an etsy shop up and its all i can think about. I can relate pretty hard to this video. For at least one whole year in my life, I'm going to just focus on starting this so i have that at least. really good video, ur voice is super calming :)
Wonderful video, I love the transparency you put into it. The artist journey has always been a complex one but finding what brings you the ultimate joy without the constrictions so many put as a guideline is highly rewarding. Also it's awesome to see another vtuber who doesn't have it all figured out but will as time goes on. I can't wait to see how you progress ✨
I always try to be careful with setting goals Because there is always the risk that thing’s dont go the way i wanted them to So its necessary to keep in touch with realistic expectations of yourself as well as who you are and what you need support wise or improvement wise to reach the state of productivity or state of being you desire The way you set your goals really resonate with me! I think it’s bery healthy to do it this way
Im in a weird dilemma where im questioning my relationship with art. Am i doing it simply because it’s the only thing Ive dound myself talented at? How cathartic is it for me? I dont know im in a weird place where i need to figure out if i want to implement art into my professional life or do i want to keep it casual. Im still very young but i need to find out where i want to go in life cause im gonna study something somewhere at some uni this year but i still dont know what is right for me
And for people taking a year is all it takes too literally Really all you need to do is be aware of what defines your current state of being Then decide what you would like to change And woth the smallest tiny baby steps you will grow everyday You won’t notice your growth probably until months later when you look back at the start of your journey It takes some time until you can really implement the means to change your situation into your life But it is always possible at any point in time
@@edamame6363 I completely understand where your head is at. I also had the same struggle myself before going to college. I question myself on weather or not I wanted to do art as a living or if I wanted to keep it a hobby or if even really enjoyed it. Finding the motivation to keep going can be tough, but ultimately I think it’s important to remember that what you create can be seen as inspiration for others as well, and you’re not alone in your story telling. Art is about connection, just like how we are connecting now. Thank you for your comment! Helps inspire me to keep going too and I hope you’re able to find more about yourself and your aspirations this year, and I encourage you to take the leap to follow what your heart wants, and be confident in what you create! ❤
hi! can i ask what software you used for the reference pictures on your left monitor at the beginning of the video? it looks very useful and id like to give it a try! this video was a really nice one to watch btw
Yeah of course! it is a free software called Pureref its just a canvas where you can drag and drop any photos from anywhere and just have them up as reference! very good tool to have
