I think it's kinda intentional. HG releasing some OP operators that can solo (Ling, Texas Alter, Yato Alter, Wisadel) some stages for the newbies to use at support in order to clear past events.
Many people are too focused on her s3 damage (it beats chalter mlynar surtr yes) BUT her downtime auto attacks mixed with talent 1 and s3 summons actually deal more dps and dph than Rosmontis s3 does. HER AUTO ATTACKS, DOES MORE DAMAGE, THAN ROSMONTIS S3. Combined with perma slows and camo that is. And not being forced to attack only blocked enemies. Every other dps in the game has weak downtimes, chalters downtime is bad, mlynar litterally doesnt attack, surtr is being redeployed. BUT walter decides to turn into the best ranged sustained damage operator in the game after using the best dps skill in the game. She is easily the best operator in the game
Limited Alter version of an already limited operator >Insane DPS & DPH >INSANE True AOE range on S3 (same as chap 10 cannon), pretty much the biggest range (other than global, which are usually single target) >Ammo based skill >Camo (like cantabile) >Summons that can tank a patriot spear >Perma slow >With summons: Out-DPSes Rosmontis s3 with Walter's SKILL OFF >Ignores trait debuff (can hit aerial enemies with S3) I thought I've seen it all with Degenbrecher but nevermind I guess LOL
Trial and error I guess, that felt like something you gotta redo several times to get it right and it probably might not work a second time in a row even if you do the same thing. It's something most of us really don't even try to attempt (mostly because we aren't content creators), we manage to beat a stage and our only concern about that stage is if the auto play works fine, the majority of us only go back to already beaten stages to either farm or complete module tasks for OPs.
With Elemental Damage give you access to easy--quite big--True Damage, they up Physical Damage standard this much? There are three of them, including Mlynar and Degenbrecher. While it is indeed true that Physical Damage has a very limited use nowadays, this powerscaling is a thing we all see ages ago. But, is it bad to wish 4th module to upgrade old operators? It is becoming a necessary things and be a good thing to grind over right? I mean, general-use wide-variant modules from crafting or store-bought. Although, if they decide to upgrade all monster with Elemental Resistance, then those 4th modules hopium might take even longer.

I mean, design wise she is pretty good, I don't think there is much to dislike about her drip. If you're talking about her kit them I gotta remind you that probably around 90% of W simps can't actually replicate what you saw in the video, the majority will just add her to their teams permanently, like Mlynar, and attempt to brute force most stuff until they hit a wall, them they might open YT and go to Kyo or Ecko, so there isn't really much harm IMO as you would pretty much not need her at all if you already have most of the units that came before her. Just think of her as the funny numbers unit.
