For example china is trying to push it's borders, Russia is trying to build USSR, India is somewhere thinking of Akand Bharat, Israel also has a plan for a greater Israel, Turkey is planning to create kind of ottoman Empire again. Iraq was as close to Secular state as could be possible in middle east. I have a first hand experience. My parents, my father's elder brother, cousin and many others lived in multiple cities in Iraq in 70s, right until mid 80s.
Most people thought highly of him, whether the local population or Indians living there. The Iran Iraq was imposed on Saddam, whereas Saddam was the clear aggressor in Iraq - Kuwait war.
In the case of Kuwait, if you followed details about how the oil wells were located, Iraq probably had legitimate claims to at least joint ownership of some of the biggest oil wells.

2 suggestions ji . Next time please also talk about the architecture of South Indian dynasties . There's spell binding architecture of Cholas , Hoysalas , Chalukyas , Rashtrakutas , Vijayanagara Empire , Kakatiya dynasty.
In fact not many people would've even heard of the Kakatiya dynasty.
1 more point I'd like to say . There is not just 1 saka samvat ( the popular salivahana saka of 78 CE ) but there is an ancient Saka epoch also . In fact most of the astronomical events can be explained in the ancient Saka epoch. This loss of knowledge of ancient Saka actually led to a loss of history for 6 centuries .
Also , there are epochs like Sree Harsha samvat , Malava Gana samvat etc which need to be discussed .

One of the reason Christianity spread so greatly because of this, uniform religion, monolith culture, easy control and the reason why Emperor Constantine embrace it, as it was easy for governance too.
Unlike Hinduism which is not a monolith culture and religion therefore is not used as a means to control and govern people like it happens in Monolithic religions. And also why Hinduism is so vast and great and as Abhijit Sir said - not comprehensive to small minds who just takes it as a means for control
Because in Abrahamic ideas since being a Political Ideas themselves, so Church/mosque has Not the different with political power. That is there is No Separation in Church and Political System(State). Thats why the word secular evolved which basically means Separation of Church and State.
