ISTP and INTP Differences: Engineer vs. Theorist

An ISTP and INTP have a conversation. They have a different mindsets: a practical engineering mindset, versus a more theoretical mindset. Subplot: will quantum computing ever be practical? Let me know what you think below.
Both ISTPs and INTPs use Introverted Thinking (Ti) as their dominant cognitive function, so they have a lot in common. However, the ISTP's Extroverted Sensing (Se) will drive them to practical solutions, and a desire to engage in hands on projects. The INTP has less of a focus on the practical, and sometimes seems to develop Ti for the sake of developing Ti rather than having a practical end goal in mind. Despite these differences, the ISTP and INTP can be an excellent co-works; the ISTP can sometimes implement what the INTP imagines.

Honestly. As an INTP, If I manage to complete a project, the project will always feels like it's still missing something. It's always bothersome to show others what I'm working on, because "what if it's not perfect and they absolutely obliterate my efforts with their cruel words"? I can never shake that feeling. 😩

I can 100% relate to that, as an INFP.
Maybe my projects are more artistic in nature (because of dominant Fi instead of Ti), but STILL, the feeling is the same.

At specific tasks one quantum computer can perform better than thousands of classical super computers operating at the same time.
So in the specific cases where quantum computers are used for functions they excel in, they can be more energy efficient over all….. when you look at it that way
