I like this kid a lot, but i wanna see him charge bigger waves. I know he can do it, and once he does he'll be one of the top dogs easy. One of the things that makes jjf and guys like andy & bruce, so damn good!

Nice kid... Rips harder than most in the world obviously. But, there's just something missing...
It’s the power in the turns. KI is getting closer and closer to having what it takes but being a power surfer, is that extra step. It’s just not there in the turns, board looks like it’s going to skip away. Obviously it’s hard to put on the weight and muscle but he can do it. I’m rooting for you Kanoa!
Couldn't agree more. I mean he totally shreds and has all the tricks. He obviously surfs better than I ever will!! But it just doesn't do it for me. It's like he never really puts it's on rail or something. Probably because he's from Huntington and it's all about air reverses and pop shove it's and tricky, flicky lil sh#@ like that..?? I just wanna see him lay some rail you know! Toledo was the same when he was young, but now his rail game is sick. Hopefully the same happens for Kanoa. Seems like a good human. Wish him all the best 👍🙏
