Overnight Adventure on the Forestry Trunk Road: Solar Storm Skies & Northern Lights

Starting at the AOAE or Alberta Overland Adventure Expo at Rival trade brewing for a social evening. We head south for a quick Friday night camp spot under the norther lights and solar storm skies as we search for new camp spots along the forestry trunk road (FTR) with Rubellion Offroad.

Did you see on the news a few days ago that they had found over 25 unattended campfiress left in the 'Calgary Forest Area'? And over 1700 interactions with people from what I understand. Just on the long weekend alone. What a disgrace.

I did see that. I can't help but think that educating people is key with this problem. Backed up with a $10K fine, impounded vehicles, lifetime ban and the opportunity to join the fire fighting efforts... 😏
