CSFB - Theory + Log Analysis

This video tells all about CSFB - Circuit Switched Fallback. It starts with SGs interface then move on to UE's registration with CS domain and then finally explains CSFB call flow. Wherever possible, I have referred to UE logs to show actual contents of the messages sent by UE.

on the note of making a voice call while data on LTE, 3rd method can be SRLTE mode (CDMA+LTE/EvDO) where UE will camp on CDMA (for CS) and LTE (for PS). Data will be suspended while a voice call is up and resume after it.

SGs is used for CSFB and Sv for SVRCC as the Voice call solutiion in LTE and VoLTE+SVRCC network.
