Hey CraftDee Family! This was my second video ever on YT lol! I know... it has a weird format and music was a little cray 😂😂. I've learned so much since then! Also, I recommend you watch this on 1.5x speed. You're welcome 😁😁.
@@rachelanastasia1977 Hi Rachael. Thank you sooo much for inquiring. I will be spending the Christmas Holiday with her in Florida and she has been asking me for a crown netting over her bed and I will be creating thus chandelier too. I will be glad to let you know when it's done. Again, I really appreciate you asking😊.
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!!!!🤩🤩🤩 I actually thought those where the hanging crystals from Amazon, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc. at first glance. Never thought to cut apart the bath mat from Dollar Tree to get the same effect. Genius!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!🥰 Thank you for sharing! God bless you!
Just ran across this old video of yours. too cute. what a great idea, a little bit time consuming but a fantastic outcome. Hey, I'm retired what am I complaining about, I have all the time in the world. Kind of. hehe.. Love your crafty ideas.
I’ve been straining my brain with different ideas to cover my ugly dining room ceiling light.Without having to remove anything.Glad I kept searching.I literally have one DT mat & was int DT yesterday & 1 mat was staring at me on the wrong aisle😂😂.I said nope I have enough stuff that’s just sitting.Tofay I find this video for the 2nd time.Thank You
Very creative and beautiful! You can't tell you used dollar tree products. I made a solar chandelier usng dollar tree wire plant hangers and acrylic gems from amazon.
I thought the same thing. Very renter friendly. Perfect for my dining room, which just has a large pot light. I’ve wanted a chandelier in there and now I know how to make it happen. :-)
Genius! I never would have thought of using the bath mats! I think those mats come in different colors too. I’m going to make a somewhat smaller version using a set of remote control led lights and hang it over my tub! Thank you! Awesome idea!
Freaking amazing...I do outside trade shows and was looking for a mobile creation for my canopy...this is it girl for real...I will send you pics once I make it....thank you
I love this idea; however, the bathmat does have that plastic look. I think I would use crystals from DT & add one in each circle of the map, & maybe even spray paint the mat a silver metallic color. I love the idea & the metal lace!
So many ways yo customize this! This video is 3 years old, and I definitely improved my technique and video skills (haha). I may make a new revamped video with this project!
Fun idea! Often when I am working on something I need to hang…I grab my A frame ladder and use that. Mine is multi color now from spray painting things I hang up. 😂 now to find those bath mats! Thank you for this.

I really like the material u choose a shower mat that was a great idea , i like that u explained everything n presented the material to use n were to get it. Beautiful i will keep watching ur show, thanks for shareing
The chandelier does not have any contact with the light fixture, as it is mounted around the outside. Also, led light bulbs are cool to touch, and are secured inside the globe. No worries at all 🙂.
@@SheSoCraftDee oh yes they do and did you know that if you find an item in the Dollar tree that you really like and they like only have one of them and you can't find them anymore if you keep the UPC to it you can email them and they can find it for you by the UPC number. Matter of fact when you do videos if you could show the UPC that would help people whose Dollar tree doesn't have that item they can then email and get it sent to their Dollar tree.
Hi! I believe it would take about 2-3 hours. Cutting up the bath mats and allowing time for the wreath rings to dry after painting are the longest steps.
Ten ********** I have been wanting to somehow make a chandelier to hang below my flush mounted light fixture (like yours) but didn't know how to make it. Thank you so much. You are so creative. X0X0
Love this...however, wouldn't it be easier to use a tomato cage? Just cut off the stakes and wrap the metal ribbon around the circles thus eliminating most of the measuring. Also, ornament hooks are another good alternative to paper clips.
Hi there! Sure, there are more efficient alternatives 🙂. The purpose of this tutorial is to use mostly items from the Dollar Tree to achieve this look. Only one item was not DT (Metal Ribbon). You can modify how you wish. I am glad this idea inspired you! 😍
Hey I used this when I made my granddaughter hanging beaded curtain, however we took it down after a few days because the plastic it was made out of gave off such bad fumes it trigger her asthma and couldn't get smell out til we threw it away.!! Val
I think the bubble mat would look very pretty spray painted the silver and some clear fishing line would look good instead of silver wire. But the back ground music is annoying. But I like the idea of chandelier.
I used plant hooks to screw into the ceiling around the fixture. then hooked the fixture to the hooks. Some have opted to suspend with a plant basket chain too. It's up to you! :)
You dont need a light fixture for this piece. Its attached with screw in hooks to the ceiling. The hooks attach the the top ring of the chandelier, or you can add a chain to attach it to the one center hook in the ceiling.

Hated the music

Great idea to add glam! Thank you so much :)

Just beautiful. I just subscribed to your channel! Thanks for sharing your ideas.
amazing!
Hi! Love your channel! I bought that metal ribbon at dollar tree.
Yes, the Dollar Tree has a similar ribbon, but it's about more narrow than the Hobby Lobby version. It may still work for this project though.
Wonderful ❤job
I used a hole punch and plastic wedding rings to hook
❤❤❤❤you are amazing 😍
This is Beautiful😍
Thank you so much 😀
really good
Thank you so much! :)
Great Chandelier love it. Very beautiful.
Thank you!!
Incredible ♥️
Love this who knew that these items would come out so lovely Beautiful
I could have done without the music, but you did a great job. I absolutely loved it!
This was by far the best chandelier diy video I have watched tfs.
Wow, thank you!
Does the heat from the light affect the plastic? I really like this. Just concern about the light
The chandelier does not have any contact with the light fixture, as it is mounted around the outside. Also, led light bulbs are cool to touch, and are secured inside the globe. No worries at all 🙂.
I checked the metal ribbon at amazon and its $42.86? This is beautiful thank you for sharing.
Yes, Amazon is way overpriced for this ribbon! Hobby lobby on sale (or with a coupon) is the way to go!
I just saw it on there for 9 bucks
Could I possibly use something other than that medal ribbon? I couldn't find any at HobbyLobby
The best diy I have seen!!
Thank you so much! :)
Omg i so need this for my front porch. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
This is so amazing I really would like to do this . You are so crafty

How would i make it to where i can use remote push lights or lighting and installing this outside in my popup gazebo?
Haven't gotten very far watching this but seems like willow wreaths might work too for rings if want to somehow create rustic look.

Wow! This idea is genius! ❤️
I really Love your chandelier. I’m still not clear on how you attached it to the light can you explain further please. Thanks
It's not actually attached to the light. I used small hooks and screwed them into the ceiling around the light. Then hooked the chandelier around it!
Ok. Thanks! Beautiful job❣️
Hey I used this when I made my granddaughter hanging beaded curtain, however we took it down after a few days because the plastic it was made out of gave off such bad fumes it trigger her asthma and couldn't get smell out til we threw it away.!! Val
I'm making one of these right now but instead of using those wreath rings and cut them up I use the tomato ring

Hopefully they will expand!! :)

Welcome aboard Donna! I hope that you enjoy the crafts that I have coming :)
How many gems did you use how much
Where did you get them from
LOVE THIS
Can you do one for a ceiling that does not have a light fixture and how would you hang?
You dont need a light fixture for this piece. Its attached with screw in hooks to the ceiling. The hooks attach the the top ring of the chandelier, or you can add a chain to attach it to the one center hook in the ceiling.
