I’m a franchise mode veteran I been playing since madden 06 so I didn’t learn anything really but wanted background noise on a boring Saturday while I played my league and I enjoyed it a lot lol and I think it was a really solid breakdown

Not sure if you’re covering it, but how do you switch the controller select to middle to watch a game? I’ve started a 32 team user league and it doesn’t seem to let me choose this option.
Unfortunately you can not move the select to the middle. In order to watch a game you need to start the game, go to super sim, change speed to slow, sim to end

Wow glad I came across your channel I been playing madden for years sometimes it confused me with all changes they do with game every year your video help me out a lot how you broke down everything and what settings best to switch them to in the game even though I always play offline in franchise mode that part help me which option click on about roster before enter the game and how pick team which all the madden games I have always pick my favorite and been a big fan of since I was kid the Cincinnati Bengals....lol Man I love your youtube videos you put out and how simple you breakdown everything down and simple it help me out a lot everything you went over in for Madden 24 this year

CRIKEYS! This is bloody great stuff bro! I'm an Aussie who has always loved Madden but I tend to struggle with the insane complexity of the Franchise mode.
Most beginners guides I've seen have this assumption that people understand what the hell is going on and just talk about recent changes.
Keep in mind that Australian football has all the strategic nuance of a kick to the nuts in comparison 😂

Awesome! I have a few more videos that may be helpful to you. Most things from my Madden 23 tips playlist and everything from Madden 24 tips will work. Madden doesn’t change too often so some info can still be used from the older games. Glad it’s helping!

Do your strategies stay what you set them to even if you don't do the minigames, and sim them? I find a lot of them really frustrating and I really just like to sim everything, but that one gives you the pop up asking if you want to sim strategy, making me think it gets overriden. Thoughts?
when you go into weekly strategy it will auto pick for you and whatever it chooses for that week will be what is given to the team if you sim it. It does change from week to week and you can't set it to be the same automatically.
I know you do a majority of CPU vs CPU simulation. I know that’s not the case in Franchise mode and you can’t see other teams play. How do you play your games in that case? Or is it mainly simulation heavy?
It’s simulation for the rest of the teams. I wish I had the time or a way to see more of the games but for time purposes I just sim any game outside of the ones I record

New to Madden here. Just wondering of theres a way to change my preseason line up. Its starting players i dont want starting haha
The game will sub the players out after the first quarter in week 1 and then it moves back a quarter for the other games. Your best bet is to either change your whole depth chart before the game or do it in game when you decide to sub out. Unfortunately that is the only way

hey, i’m trying to be able to just sim to this years super bowl at the starting point and it’s not showing me an option. is there something i can do to fix it?
Madden stopped updating the start now option every week and do it very sporadically now
Video was a huge help and I watched the entire thing but is there a way to just keep my roster exactly how it currently is in real life even after completing my first season? I know I can start the season with the real life NFL roster but I also want to keep it that way without worrying about having to pay attention to all the trading and drafting process. 🙏
Unfortunately there is not. If you set things to simple and auto everything the CPU will decide who to resign and also will probably low ball a few players for resigning. The bare minimum would be resigning everything manually and maybe handling player upgrades yourself. The cpu will not trade for you from what I have seen. Thank you for checking it out!

Hey man. Very nice video. I’m playing madden 24 for two days now and I’m having a little crisis and I hope you can help me. Madden 23 was my first madden and I always was a fifa career mode player who only played for stats against cpu so I did that also in madden 23 and it was much fun and I played over 10 years of career without having any problems. But now I played my first falcons season in madden 24 and this endurance display of the players is making me crazy. One big run with ridder and he had like 10% all the rest of the season. I don’t know how he get back 100%. I’ve seen in the video it has to do something with auto subs but that’s only when players are substituted. Also the bigger problem players like pitts and London weren’t playing more than 2 plays a game and I don’t know why ? Maybe your having an idea to help me. Thank you
Madden implemented “progressive fatigue” a couple titles ago and routinely breaks it with certain updates so the best way to avoid any issues from this is by going to your settings menu and turning off progressive fatigue for good. Another way to combat this if you want to keep it on for realism purposes is to make sure you are adjusting the practice intensity for your players. You can do that in the weekly strategy menu by changing them from full pads to half pads. Make sure it’s set to both and not just starters as well.
You should do another vid just like this but for just Trades only for franchise mode..😮So many people are Lost when it comes to trades!
Is there coach mode in Madden 24? If so, how do you turn it on?
there is technically a coach mode under main menu settings that will make the CPU take over for you if you snap the ball and don't touch any buttons. I don't know how effective it is but its available for you to use.
About to make a offline league with a updated community file now that free agency has started.
If I sim the entire 1st season and force win the entire schedule the way it played out irl, with XP sliders turned off no one will go up or down in overall right? So that way I can get it to the 2024 draft

@@CBGamingYT7 yeah 4 hours later lol I'm sitting here in week 1 of preseason adjusting every single new contract cause EA still doesn't let the people who make the rosters, do that outside of franchise. Nonetheless, I'll let you know if it worked once I get to the off-season
What are the messages that pop up in the bottom right every now and then? How do I see what they say?

When im in franchise mode during the free agent period, it doesnt let me sign free agents :( anyway i can fix this?
I’ve only seen that when I have free agency or signing players set to auto in settings
In the team scheme menu, how do I chose my custom playbook?
So I can do formation subs with my custom play book.
Unfortunately you can only choose it in game menu so my best advice is to use a book that has a lot of the formations in a default book and then set formation subs for that. It will carry over to the playbook you choose. I did that last year for the Texans franchise

Is head coach firing broken? I got fired as a head coach and recieved no offers. Even if I have a few winning season and then a bad one. I'll get fired and receive no offers and forced to retire.
They have really never worked tbh. I’d make sure coach firing is off and just make it up as you go if you think you need to switch teams
Yeah i did not know you can rig game in franchise causing force wins that cool if want to cheat your way to the superbowl i just wonder if there a set limit on how many force wins you can have bc there no way you set game up to where you end up winning or losing
We set up leagues before in separate files for a championship game and we were able to force win the entire league schedule for the entire season. It’s just only effective if you sim. If you play there is no way to do that

i started a franchise, but there is no training camp... anyone know whats going on? I cant do any of the extra training games.
Are you on next gen consoles? If so check your settings, I think it auto places it on auto if you don’t change it to manual

When you are starting a franchise you get to a screen right away that lets you choose the top section says things like start today and then there is one below that for offline
How about CPU VS CPU Simulations? For the most realistic gameplay setting, should I put it on Rookie? Pro? ALL Pro?
if you are just simming the game and not watching I do not know what the best settings are. I of course sim games but I do not have settings established strictly for that. I always refer people to Operation Sports forums because there are a lot of good people over there at really dive into that stuff!

@@sumandsubstance7881 I prefer all pro this season but pro is the 2nd best for me. If sliders are right you can use either of those and get quality game play

Brother, I have a problem with playing the first season, the end of the first season, and the playoffs. I see that my main team does not play with me, even though I have them in the starting lineup.

Unfortunately you can’t. Has to be online for that to work
How do I confirm my weekly strategy? I do everything and it still tells me that it is incomplete when I go to play a game
At the end of the weekly strategy where you can do the mini games there is a menu to the left that says start training. Click on that and it will run the practice for you

It’s only at the beginning of preseason. If you are referring to weekly training then that would be under settings and you would need to make sure that weekly strategy and manage practice reps is set to manual
I started in preseason substitutes are crazy so I’m assuming that’s broke too?

Progressive fatigue off and auto subs set up with reputable slider set Fatigue also set Don’t know if this will go same in season but it does not sub back in during preseason so far About 8?games into first week I decided to play it on iout and tweak sliders til opening night If fatigue is completely unfixable and anyone knows let me know Babi need to proceed.
End of first quarter the starters go out Their day is over. That’s preseason now Don’t know if this persists into season

Is there anything I can do to make playing this more exciting and competitive? I bought game yesterday for £14 and I feel like I wasted money anyway 😆 on all madden I’m getting absolutely destroyed but on all pro I beat buffalo bills 1st game like 48-7 with Josh Allen throwing 6 INT and same happens next game with Dak Prescott throwing 5 INT , i mean come on 😆
